This set has ended up becoming my favorite for this year. The colors are gorgeous, and it has been sustaining a seascape and sea turtle drawing kick. The tin is great for brginging them on the go; I finally got the set it's own coach purse so that I can keep an eraser, pencil sharpener and sketch pad all in there. I guess the only con is that these tins aren't built to hold those other things, but I have it figured out. The pencils are comfortable to work with, and I haven't had any issues with breakage. I do have to use more pressure than I would like for getting a more saturated look, I think because I became accustomed to ink and markers, before. Once getting used to these, they are so awesome! Decent quality pencils for the price point. I usually use Prismacolor because I love soft pencils, but I liked that this color palette was specific to urban sketching-lots of lovely muted colors. My only gripe is that two colors were swapped/mislabeled. The pencil labeled Ultramarine Violet (040) was actually Cornflower Blue (092) and vice versa. Fortunately the colors are accurate on the non-sharpened end of the pencil, so visually they are correct. I guess I have one more gripe-the pencils in the tin weren’t displayed to align with the swatches in the top of the tin. Not a big deal to rearrange them in order, but the packaging/presentation is a bit sloppy. But, again, good quality pencils for the price point.

Always good quality, love these the most of all the colored pencil because they are rich in color, soft on the paper and well priced.

Never used this brand before but I like them. I draw for a hobby and have just gotten into portraits.

Nice little kit suitable for producing decent artwork. Lays smoothly on the paper’s surface. Easy to use for even novice artists.

The hook to buy this product was the box of course and the inspiring palette. I thought it would be just enough to sample colors for my projects. The pencils are actually of very nice quality and I am using them very often in my sketchbooks. I love them now. Excellent idea of packaging, very good quality, I recommend those pencils to really Everyone.

Nice pencils. Ideal color selection for urban sketching - especially darker brown tones from the collection are nice.
