If you want to improve your English vocabulary while having fun reading, then this book is just for you! The language is easy to comprehend yet creates vivid images. I did find these stories funny and entertaining, rich in real-life English expressions. An engaging blend of genres, unusual characters and unexpected twists made me feel curious and didn't let me stop reading until the very end. I highly recommend this book as a MUST READ for every English learner, but I am strongly determined that not only the learners, even the native speakers could benefit from reading this book.

This book is confused. It is aimed at intermediate level readers, but the explanation and instructions of how to use the book is advanced level. Unless this is for a teacher to read before issuing the book, I don't understand. The stories themselves are fine. The significant section before this is not.

I purchased this book as a gift for my Stepmother. My Stepmother is from the Philippines and wanted the opportunity to master her command of English more effectively. My Stepmother had really enjoyed reading this book and learning to understand the many eccentricities of the English Language.
