Nicely machined and polished
I'm going to use these to hinge some porch screens at a beach house, a very harsh environment. I'm sure they'll hold up to the conditions very well, given the quality.

Missing friction pad
I like the latch it looks fine but mine came without the black friction pad contrary to what is stated on the product description. I wanted the pad to prevent rattle with vibrations on my boat. I will return this item.

Nice latch but small
Not sure if I misread or just wasn't thinking but this is smaller than I anticipated. It is well made thick and sturdy but too much so for it's size. I kept it, maybe I'll find a use for it.
