It’s a cross between acrylic and gouache, but you apply it neat rather than add water. It takes a few coats to get the full, vivid colour, but well worth it for the even, flawless finish! Delivery was great too - only took a few days to arrive, and well packaged! ### ⭐ Poor opacity, not Matte *by A***S on 14 September 2019* The opacity is really really poor. I did expect it to be less than tradition gouache however. The biggest issue is the none matte drying finish, the black is pretty much satin, the green is somewhere in between. Overall not great to be honest. Really don't feel like the pigment density justifies the high cost?
