CANON FAN AND LOVE THE SAVINGS!
I have been a Canon fan for many years. When I discovered I was able to purchase my cartridges on the Subscribe & Save option, I was delighted. Not only do I get my cartridges of choice, but I save with the twin pack, do not pay shipping, save 15% on the transaction, and receive an email from Amazon when my Canon PG-40 Black Twin Pack is to be shipped. At this time I have the option to skip the shipment or let them conveniently drop it off at my door via UPS. I was happy to find that Amazon.com carries the twin pack at a huge cost savings. I very rarely walk into an office supply store ~ why waste the money and gasoline. I have not had a problem with my Canon cartridges (or my Canon machines). I always suggest checking the cost of a cartridge before buying that cheap printer. I highly recommend this cartridge; reliability, cost, and longevity.

Great product and allows me to see my ink levels!
I've bought this a few times now and love that it is not too much more expensive than refilling it at the local store. I prefer to get the original inks now because my printer has issues with the refills and I tend to use half of the ink trying to fix any problems. Plus, if you use the original inks then you can see the ink levels! Just double check the prices between the double packs and the single ones because every now and then they swap on which is a better value. I love that I can use it for so long, too! (If you set your printer to "draft" or a similar setting it tends to use less ink... and I do that on just about everything and it still turns out OK. It makes the ink last longer.)

does the job
I have never had much luck buying refilled ink cartridges, so I stick to the name brand. This one is a good price, not great, but I've seen it much higher. And it lasts.

The ink cartridges are OE
These ink cartridges brought my old Canon MPX 310 back to life. The screen works no more but it still prints. Bought 2 more color cartridges also off Amazon.

Cheap and the same as the Originals from Canon
This is one on my great buy items. I always always always purchase these online because they are much cheaper and they are the same as if I go to Office Max, with the exception on me having to sell 2 of my children to afford them. Now that my children are all grown up with children of their own, I was forced to make better decisions so this is one of my best. So grateful these are available. I do not purchase the refilled ones, been there done that. They sometimes cause problems with your printer and they truly do not last as long.

I don't use refills
I've found personally in the past that using those refill packages or using pre-refilled cartridges is either a dirty process or an ultimately useless one as the ink either dries up too quickly or, in one case, even spoiled my print head. Thus they're false economy and I much prefer to use the original stuff. In terms of page coverage, I print most stuff on economy/fast that's being field away (unless it's an important document in which case, it's printed in standard or even fine mode) or needs to be legible so I get a decent amount of copies out of a cartridge. I've never counted the amount of copies but I don't doubt what Canon states. No mess, no issues - just prints as it should.

Just what I ordered
Great

As with all OEM cartridges, these are overpriced but having had bad experiences with cheaper, refilled cartridges not lasting anywhere near as long (even with supposedly the same volume of ink), I wouldn't buy off-brand cartridges again.
