Are the actual Dimensions 0.75 x 2" -- as many dimensional lumber will says 0.75 x 2" is really 0.75 x 1.5"?

Is this 2" in width versus the local HW-stores 1 1/2 inch width? After sanding I need it at least 1 3/4 - 1 7/8 minimum width, preferred 1 15/16-ish.
