Price is good, cord is excellent quality, nuff said. On 9-11-2001 I was a SWAT Sniper deployed at the airport, to ensure everything stayed on the ground... and in the days that followed we began to gear up for the unknown. Many yards of paracord were used to tie up and tie down gear. Cases of paracord came in for us, and it was ROTHCO! So ive bought it ever since. Last year I began making bug out, survival packs, whatever back packs for myself and two grown sons. In order to keep it organized we went with 3 colors, black, OD green and Coyote. Bought paracord in each color, and this stuff is same quality as i used 19 years ago. I would not rate this if i used just a few feet. I have used hundreds of feet of Rothco paracord over the years, its as good as it gets.

Good quality basic para cord
I bought this because it was orange and I wanted a bright color to use for clothes lines and other items in camp that I (1) don't want to trip over or run into, and (2) don't want to leave behind when I depart. I usually use the Mil-Spec quality cord, which is 7 strands with 3 plies in each strand. Available at Cabelas, among other places. The problem with the Mil-Spec is it is all olive drab and invisible in the woods (for good reasons). So, to get the bright orange stuff, I had to buy the commercial quality which is 7 strands with only 2 plies in each strand. Not as strong as the Mil-Spec stuff, but plenty suitable to hang up some clothes in camp. So, since it's only 2 ply, I give it 4 stars.

Paracord paradigm
I was looking for paracord and I found this. I bought two bundles from Rothco and was able to make bout 20 bracelets between em. The cord is strong and durable. I wear the first bracelet I made every day and have for weeks. It's maintaining shape well so far (the knots stay tight, it's not stretching out quickly as leather would). All and all, it IS paracord so it does what I want it to.The only major difference between this and other brands that I've tried is this: Rothco wraps the cord around the bundle itself. This isn't really a game-changer as with regular use you'll have to do this yourself many times, but when buying a dozen colors, I appreciate not having to spend the extra time prepping the bundles for storage right out of the bag.The only time I buy from someone else is if Rothco doesn't have the colors I'm looking for.

Can come in handy when needed or bored
I bought this back in 2014 so it has been about 6 years (2020). Bought because I had found out about paracord bracelets and wanted to make some but didn’t have the material so I bought some. Didn’t know how much 100ft was tell I got it and I have to say it was more than I though so I had decided to make other stuff now that I had it. Bracelet, whips, belt, handcuffs, regular rope. At that time of buying was a great buy.

Decent paracord but...
I ordered polyester paracord that will be used outdoors in the rain and sun. Polyester seems to hold up a little better and stretch less than nylon for this application. The cord arrived with 2 layers of packaging. The label on the outer package said polyester. The label around the coil of rope said nylon. Unfortunately I only read the outer label before opening the package and cutting a section of rope and realizing the section felt more like nylon (which is when I double checked both labels and realized the outer bag must have got the wrong sticker). I will find a use for this but will still need to get some polyester cord.

Bright, rich color - but 100%???
The image doesn't do it justice - the red here is not weak but vibrant. Maybe more orange-red than purple-red, if you are picky on that point. Nice saturation. I'm very pleased.Note that the label says "100% polyester" but I called the manufacturer (Rothco) and was told that this product has a woven polyester outer sheath and 7 strands of nylon for the inner core. So my guess is that it will not achieve the ideal stretch resistance of 100% polyester, but it looks great and feels durable-- almost slick compared to a nylon-sheathed paracord.

I love paracord. Not much to go wrong with. I'd give it 4.5 Stars if I could.
I have one complaint. The Olive Drab color is much much darker than I expected. I had to hold it up next to a piece of black paracord to tell the difference. Other than that, it's great. It works just like paracord should. The way it is bundled is great and easy to take strands from. To keep it all together after I took pieces from it, I cut a couple strands from it about 8 inches long and tied them around it close to the ends of the bundle.

the current CDN pricing is competitive and it's certainty much better than the other faux camping or survival paracords sold ...
Similar quality to titan paracord (albeit in a slightly less thicker gauge). The nylon isnt military spec (and therefore thinner than Titan cord), but still works very well for binding knives, tent posts, and use in survival applications such as tying and knotting. While I traditionally buy Rotcho in the states, the current CDN pricing is competitive and it's certainty much better than the other faux camping or survival paracords sold on Amazon (I bought the Ultimate survival technologies one out of price, and it's considerably thinner and cannot be used outdoors).
