Beginner Piano Lessons for Kids Book: with Online Video & Audio Access

My son recently got a keyboard and has been using this book to learn the basics. Very easy for him to follow.

I got this book for my 8 year old daughter who has never played piano before. I gave her the book and walked out of the room for 5 minutes and when I came back she was playing Mary Had a Little Lamb. The book is amazingly easy to understand which was so helpful because I have no musical background and don’t know how to help her if she doesn’t understand. It was so easy that I have started to play the piano myself. This book is really amazing!

My 11 year old has taught herself many songs just in a few weeks and now my 7 year old has started to sit down and teach himself different songs. This book is so easy for them to use and learn to play on their own. Definitely money well spent.

So I read the reviews on this before buying and would like to clarify for people who clearly didn’t play piano before buying this book, the NUMBERS with notes are the fingers your kid should use. 1 is thumb, 2 is index finger, etc. I think it’s great for my son so far and we’ve been using the suggestions (he’s 4) to learn where the notes are before we dealt sit down for him to learn to play My only problem is the book doesn’t stay open very well and for some reason the cover has bent open no matter which direction I have it just sitting on the piano. Like it just curled randomly and it was closed when it happened…

Im an adult trying to learn piano for the first time. This book has taught me so much!! Definitely recommend! Wishing there was a second and a third so I can keep learning!!! Looking for recommendations for a next book to continue learning!!!

I bought this beginner book for two young girls in my church. I bought them a keyboard because they are always anxious to play mine at church before church begins. The youngest girl (8) loves playing it so much they have a hard time pulling her away. She if following the book, and can play many of the songs. There is a web page where you can watch the man playing the songs, and play along with him.

I bought my 9 year old granddaughter a keyboard for Christmas along on this book. It’s been two weeks and she is killing it.

I ordered this and one other book as a gift. I came on here to ask a question of other purchasers, but I don't see any option for asking a question on this product. I wanted to ask if it is meant to end at page 45 or if mine is missing some pages. It ends abruptly at "Let's try the cross-over exercise using the left hand," followed by some notes. Seems like a strange way to end a book. Then it is followed by several blank pages. A mistake in printing, possibly? I am a piano player myself and have glanced over it. It seems like an okay book for young kids to start with. I noticed that at the beginning, it says we will only be using the white keys in this book -- just to give you an idea of how basic it is. It is a short book and is pretty adequately named, "beginner piano lessons for kids." This will get them started but will not take them far at all, so plan on having another book to follow with soon.
