The is great quality lotion, The size is very large and lasts for months. The lotion is very thick and goes on very easy and smooth and makes my skin look young and moisturiezed and it lasts all day. I use this daily and love the SPF in itl I have not ever got burnt and live in Florida. Its a great product for the money.

I usually don't buy lotions (especially in a large size like this!) without first smelling them since I can be sensitive to smells, but I went ahead and bought this lotion sight unseen (scent unsmelled?!) based the reviews. I've used Alba Botanical products in the past and have always loved them, and this one is great, too! The lotion is nice and thick, but it sinks right in, so that you don't feel greasy and your skin doesn't feel heavy at all after using it. Also, the scent is very, very light and subtle; it doesn't compete with my perfume, and is definitely gender-neutral. In fact, the scent fades away after a few minutes of applying it. Another big plus is that I can use this on my legs right after shaving, and it doesn't burn, as I was afraid it would because of the alpha-hydroxy acids in it. I've been looking for an SPF lotion that was lighter-feeling, and this one is definitely great. I've used Kiehl's SPF body lotion in the past, but it's the same price for a bottle that is half as big as this Alba one. I've also tried Lubriderm's SPF lotion, but that one felt too thick for me. This is a nice compromise! UPDATE 4/18/10: I've been using this a few weeks now, and just love it! It has made my skin so soft, even on those troublesome places like my elbows, which are usually really rough. I will definitely be buying this again once I run out.

I'm a big fan of Alba products and I love this item! A lotion combined with SPF for easy daily protection is a necessity for everyone. The lotion goes on smoothly & absorbs right in to my skin. It is a little thicker than traditional lotions, but thinner than a body butter. The lotion has a slight sunscreen smell, but it fades shortly after application. I will purchase again & highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dual purpose daily body lotion.

I was sad I couldn't find the emollient daily shade, but that's what they sent me lol. this is a very greasy spf for about 5 minutes, and then it soaks into your skin nicely. I can't smell or feel it after 5 mins. it is SUCH a great size for twenty bucks. it works well I feel, it has good coverage, and I enjoy it very much. will be a staple in my routine for years.

I feel REALLY good using an SPF all over. This does not disappoint! The fragrance is light and the feel is lightweight, not sticky at all. It absorbs quickly into my skin after showering and I'm not left with residue or transfer on my clothes! It's moisturizing all day and I literally have no itchy Winter skin as I typically do in the Northeast Winters. I will repurchase and possibly put it on subscribe to ensure I'm never without it! A+++++ for me!

This is a wonderful natural body skin lotion. I had been looking for a lotion that had some kind of SPF factor in it as I live in Florida, and I found this. Alba Botanica is a name you can trust. I just never knew they had the product I had been looking for, but they do and I am glad to have found it. The lotion is quite thick and white coming out of the pump, but it spreads nicely and does not leave white streaks on your skin. It does leave your skin a bit shiny but for me that is not a problem. This lotion is very emollient as listed, and no added fragrance. For sure I will buy this again. One funny thing I will share is that it must taste good too, because one of my dogs just waits for me to come out of the shower and if I have used this lotion, he just starts licking. I have to keep moving away so he cant get to my skin. In no way do I endorse anyone or any pet to eat this.

I'm on the hunt for everyday lotion with sunscreen. I was very sad to hear that Neutrogena discontinued their lotion with sunscreen. I tried this and it is ok. It is a little greasy when it goes on and I don't care for the smell. It is sort of like an unscented smell ( you know, when things say unscented, but they still have some sort of strange smell? It's like that) and a mixture of sunscreen smell. Neutrogena had much lighter of a fragrance. I don't think I'll be able to use this stuff, it is just too stinky and greasy for me. The packaging was great though! I had read other reviews about that and having lotion leak everywhere. Mine came tightly secured with plastic wrap inside a cardboard box. So, there's that positive! Update 11/2/23. I'm updating my review. I love this stuff. It felt greasy and stinky at first, but it does not last at all! Goes on thick, but absorbs well! The smell actually didn't bother me at all and I never noticed it after putting it on. I have a very sensitive nose and this stuff is just fine! I highly recommend!

If you want a very thick skin lotion this is a great choice. I prefer something that goes on easier. Seems the formula is missing water. Fragrance is fine and it does work pretty well.

This stuff is amazing, extremely moisturising without being greasy. It makes your skin feel so smooth and nourished. Added bonus is that it has sunscreen it it. It also smells lovely and reminds me of summer. The best body lotion I have ever used and more noisturising than most body butters. I can't recommend it highly enough, fantastic value for money.
