**Q: Do you have these with the drill holes 4" apart. If not any suggestions?**
A: Rib Bones and the majority of modern plastic skateboard rails use 5 holes instead of 4, and wood screws instead of sex bolts. I think the 5th hole was added because wood screws are not as strong as sex bolts, but they are lighter, and you don’t have to drill holes through your deck for t-nuts. So there is less risk of drilling a hole wrong so it does not line up, plus bigger holes drilled in decks can cause weak spots where a deck could possibly snap more easily.

However, if you are looking for rails with 4 holes for a more authentic old school 1980’s retro look, Diamond Supply, Candy Bars (AKA Paul Schmitt from Schmitt Stix, PS Stix and Welcome skateboards) and Street Plant (Mike Vallely) all sell modern 4 hole plastic skateboard rails. I’m sure there are more brands out there also, but I know the Diamond ones are cheaper than Rib Bones, come in more colors and are widely available on Amazon. I’ve used Candy Bars which use double sided tape to help the wood screws hold tighter. I have not used Mike’s Street Plant rails, but Mike is an awesome guy, so I’m sure his rails are also awesome.

**Q: Do they offer anything longer or something similer that would be longer**
A: I have also been looking for longer rails because I have a cruiser with a 17.5” wheelbase. Unfortunately, I’ve searched for a long time and I have not found longer rails commercially available.

I think the only 2 options we have are to contact a company that makes rails and see if they can cut us custom length rails, OR try to find a source that sells the extruded plastic that is used to make rails in a long uncut strip. I have friends with a CNC milling machine and I have a drill press. So I’d consider making custom made long rails. If I was successful, I’d be willing to make some for other people who need them for a reasonable price.
