Star Wars Villain Trooper, Red

Hasbro seems to have made these with a different plastic, also the heads come off. I find it fun to mix and match the heads and bodies... Arms and legs are stiff, my kids love them though!

Stormtroopers are super cool. I love pretending that this guy is shooting at all kinds of good guys.... and missing every single time. Just like in the movies!

I can easily say this figure is well sculpted. However, more points of articulation are severely needed to make this a great figure. The figure cannot hold the flamethrower weapon accessory with two hands as the artwork on the box shows due to the figure only having the inferior five points of articulation. The extra red armor accessory makes no sense at all for this figure as when the figure is wearing the red armor he cannot wear the backpack and the flamethrower weapon has nowhere to plug the end of the hose into. Also, the gun is made of very thin rubbery plastic that is easily warped so the figure carries around a bent weapon. So, minus one star for the bad choice of rubbery plastic material for the gun and nowhere for the hose to plug into when wearing the red armor accessory. That is just poorly thought out. Minus another star for the lack of better articulation. Overall, a nicely sculpted figure if it were released in the late 1970's through the 1990's but for 2015 the figure is severely under articulated especially for the cost of Star Wars figures now. A nice figure for young/old Star Wars figure collectors who do not mind an action figure without the ability to be posed much into action poses.My rating for this figure is 3 out of 5 stars.I am a long time collector of action figures going way back to the late 1970's.

Thought it's limbs were going to have a lot more movement but sadly no but it did catch on fire pretty easily so that's a plus.🤗
