These vitamins are great!!!! I used to have male pattern baldness as a woman and pencil thin eyebrows. In 1.5 months I can definitely see the hair growth. Even my eye brows. So many talk about how awful they taste. They smell. They do. That’s the collagen from the fish bones. 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s fine. If you don’t want to have diarrhea, stomach cramps or burp the fish, START SLOW. Depending on how your gut health is, it will dictate your symptoms. These are probiotics! I started with one capsule the first week, then 2 capsules for a week, then 3 for a week and then full dose going forward. So grateful my naturopathic doctor recommended these. Definitely helping with no negative effects. As always, check with your doctor before taking any supplements. My husband is so impressed he started taking them too.

I’ve been taking these vitamins for almost three months. I definitely feel like they’re working and I’m seeing new hair growth, which I can only attribute to these vitamins. I’m not sure why, but I suddenly started losing gobs of hair in the shower and anytime I brushed my hair. Also my nails have made a comeback! I’ve always had strong healthy nails but for some reason they became brittle, weak, and paper thin. I’m not sure why but they’ve really grown back nice. Almost back to how they used to be. I’m very happy with the results and will continue to take these vitamins. The only drawback is the taste (and why I took one star away). They taste awful. Like most vitamins, I think. I’ve tried many different ways to get past the taste (and smell). I found the best way is to take all four at once and hold my breath and to eat something directly after taking them. I still taste them but it does help. But don’t let that sway you away from them cause they really do work!

These are the only vitamins that have made a huge difference in my hair and nails. I suffer from hyperthyroidism and Graves’ disease. My nails have never looked this great and grown this much! I have continued to buy more vitamins from this manufacturer.

Bit of a skeptic but since my hair loss wasn't stopping, I gave these a try. I researched a much more expensive brand but these had better ingredients and are third party tested so I trust the quality. I used the entire container but didn't think they had made a difference so I went back to my old vitamins. Once the shedding picked up again, I realized they had actually worked to really slow things down! I've been using again for just over a month and can say with certainty these have worked for me. Shedding has stopped entirely (menopause related hair loss). I've done little else to stop the hair loss so can confidently say it's the vitamins. Four capsules per day isn't the easiest for me and they have a slight "vitamin" smell/taste but totally worthwhile. These are my new daily vitamins and grateful for them.

Smellll like straight A** I love CodeAge, I previously bought other probiotics from them (skin/nails and also the teeth/gum ones) and ya they both smell a little diff but nothing crazy. I never tried the hair ones until I recently lost a significant amount of hair due to stress. This one is intolerable. I tried to stay committed because I truly trust CodeAge products and saw such a difference when using the skin/nails ones…but I can’t go on. As another reviewer mentioned, if you are able to get past the initial swallow (and Geezzz holy fuhhh they recommend 4 pills!!! I only take 2), you’ll still get after taste burps for a bit so you continue to suffer…I think I got like 4-5 days in and I just can’t do it anymore. Sorry CodeAge but these are disgusting!!!! Also hella lame they don’t give you a refund. Like i’m sorry it’s a waste of your product but it’s an L for us too…our $ down the drain and we are willing to send the remaining pills back to you.

Taken for 4 months and not working for me

I’ve been taking these for 6 months now. My hair was thinning, breaking off, and just would not grow thanks to extreme stress and an eating disorder. I was originally taking thyroid supplements and 10,000mg biotin. That worked for a bit but eventually stopped working. I somehow stumbled upon this brand of vitamins and noticed it actually ended up being cheaper than the combo of the prior two things I was using. When I started I had pretty noticeable bare spots, and had just trimmed my hair to just under my ear to even out the fact that the top layer was broken and varying short lengths. Within the first two months, my hair was chin length and my nails had grown much quicker than before. 6 months in and my hair is now to my shoulders, it’s all even (no breakage making it uneven), and the parts where the hair had thinned out, have very noticeable baby hairs growing in nicely. My hair is definitely healthier and so are my nails. I’ve been consistently taking 4 per day. One weird thing though is if you take 4 per day, there are enough for 30 days, however for whatever reason all 6 bottles have always had 2 extra (or 2 less, I have no idea which). It evens out when you buy two bottles at a time, but I just found it weird or maybe I’m just crazy…who knows. But overall, they work great! I plan to keep using them for as long as they are around and still work for me.
