So I read a lot of reviews before I bought these, and if you do the same you will quickly realise the following: 1. The price changes regularly 2. The quantity of what is being sold changes regularly 3. The colour and possibly material of what is being sold changes regularly So, I bought 20 of these for £3.76 (the description currently states 50 for £6.65). The description does not state that these are hygienic, nor does it promise to filter bacteria including COVID. I don't know if these things have ever been claimed in he past (looking at previous reviews perhaps some claims were made) but I bought them because they were very cheap and looked the same as ones being sold for 20x more on other websites. What I received was exactly what I expected. The masks were loose inside a jiffy bag but neatly bundled together. They looked exactly as the picture suggested, seemed to be strong enough for purpose (they are disposable after all), and fit well. For this price I expected no more. I will use these for travelling on public transport and perhaps when shopping but I am in no doubt that this type of mask will only PROTECT OTHERS in case I cough or breathe violently towards others. These will not protect me from breathing something in; for that a mask with a filter would be required which generally cost upwards of £25 each. If that's what you are expecting then look elsewhere but for me these were great.

The mask comes as described. They fit adult male and female people with both the face covering and the elastic of adequate size and stretch to cover the nose and mouth and be held firmly in place. The elastic is a round profile and so it doesn't cut into the ears and is comfortable. There is a mouldable strip on the upper part that can be moulded to the nose shape which creates a tighter, but not air tight seal. I wear glasses and a little fogging can be expected with this sort of mask as breath escapes vertically onto the lenses. The material is pleated so that as you place them over your face, they can expand to your face size. These are designed to be disposable, and their manufacture is perfectly adequate to last a number of hours of use. They were delivered well ahead of my order expectations in an envelope that easily fit through the letterbox. Breathable, safe, hygienic and comfortable. A lot of other face masks I found didn't stick to your nose or face as well, these had no issue, great fitting. The tiny band of metal keeps them firmly in place and prevents shifting. The quality of the filtering is inline with COVID-19 guidelines which was reassuring. The material is not too thick which allows them to be breathable yet thick enough to feel secure. The bands around the head make the masks very easy to use and enhance the great design.

Yes these are comfortable, strong and quite thick surprisingly with good face coverage but I won’t buy again as I only had bought these during the covid period and we were actually forced to wear masks. They’re good though but also hard to breathe. I just don’t think I would recommend this unless if you work in the medical industry.

Soft and thick , will buy again
