My little Malshi LOVES this food. It's the only thing she can eat without getting an upset stomach. I'm on my 9th bag of it. The size is perfect for little dogs, and the quality of each bag has been great.

This dog food is fantastic. I make our own topper to go over this and my pups just lap it right up. It’s the best price I’ve found it even with a coupon from a pet store. The ingredients are amazing. It’s baked at a lower setting to ensure nutrient quality remains high.

Makes great treats but our dog can't eat them for meals because it aggravates his weak trachea problem. After 12 years trying various dog foods, the frozen raw meats are what works best for him, they are just very expensive. He likes these so we just give him a few every day as treats.

(I mix 1/2 open farm and 1/2 farmers dog so she’s getting some human food as well but this helps keep cost down)

The size seems a little small for large breed dogs. It is pricey also.

Good ingredients for the value

No digestive issues as I’ve read on other reviews. Switched my boy slowly from Instinct Frozen and use Smart Earth Camelina oil and he’s doing great. Very happy with ingredients except fish meal but so hard to avoid it. Love the humane sourcing, non GMO, and no antibiotics. The kibble is small so can be fed to small or large breeds. My boy is 90 pounds and he sure does scarf it down. Would recommend to friends but if worried about allergies, start with small bag to make sure your furbaby is good with it. That’s one reason I went with Turkey have never had allergies problems with it. Some dogs can be allergic to chicken so choose your main ingredient carefully. Also like the ancient grains rather than going grain free. Update: Last bag had a funny smell and gave my collie diarrhea! No longer can recommend this food as I wasted quite a bit of money on an item that Amazon says is not returnable. Looking for new food as one bad bag is one too many. No longer trust this company with this type of inconsistency.

This is one of the brands we rotate in our dog’s diet(Fromm being the other) Quality ingredients, ethical company, good value. Vet has always been complementary about our dog’s coat/skin/teeth and his bloodwork has always come back normal, so we’ll continue buying it

I had to search for new dry food for my 8 month old Scottish Terrier as the food recommended by the breeder, she has not liked at all! Just for her to eat I would have to add either bits of chicken or vegetables if I wanted her to eat. My husband came across Open Farm when I asked him to go looking for good quality food for our fur baby. He told me all about it and I then went looking and read reviews and we decided it would be worth a try and happy we did! We have done the reduction of 25%-50%-75% and tomorrow she will be on 100% of Open farm Turkey and Ancient grains. You want to know something? Nothing other than Open farm and her old food have been in her dish and she has eaten all of the Open Farm and very little of the other dry food (which also happens to be ethically sourced fish) I don't know if it's the dry dog food she has been eating for the past 5 months or it is something else but her coat matts easily and as it does have a shine, it doesn't feel like my other Scottish have in the past. Now what I like about Open Farm dry dog food is their commitment to using ethical sourced ingredients and have a commitment to ensuring they provide your beloved furry friend the best they can get. Short of doing your furry friend's food, this is a great alternative to that. I have done my babies food in the past and even though it was time consuming, it was worth it! Now I have something she likes to eat and I don't have to put anything else in her dish to eat. Thank you Open Farm from the bottom of my heart <3
