Good little vacuum
Does the trick on hard floors, not for carpets with long hair. Battery hold pretty good, recharge quickly. Noise level is a little high but it's not a big problem for me. Update at 8 months: still going strong, I use it every days especially in the dinning and kitchen areas, battery is charging nicely, easy to empty.

Shark products are always great!
It's a Shark. What more could be said? The Shark that I am replacing was 13 years old. My big Shark Rotator is also 13 years old. Still doing a great job. It's quiet, heavy enough that it doesn't bounce across the Berber carpet It picks up my Westies hair and crunchies from his treats. It's a dandy little quick pick-up machine. I highly recommend it

Cheap plastic poorly made. Disappointing.
Very disappointing. Poorly made from cheap plastic. Handle assembly is very lightweight and feels rickety. The motor is loud and the suction only works well if you are pushing it forward. The charging dock is also lightweight, and I found it difficult to use. I'm going back to the Shark sweeper.

Good vac for the money
Great little vac. Plenty of power, but seems a bit cheaply made. So far, it's been great. Works well on low pile carpet and vinyl flooring. Perfect for quick cleaning or area rugs.

Pretty good
It's a bit noisy but does pickup light trash. Dog hair is a problem.

Lightweight Powerhouse
Lightweight Powerhouse! The Gtech SW22 is a game-changer! At only 3 lbs, it's incredibly easy to maneuver with one hand. Don't let the weight fool you - the suction on carpet is unbelievable, and it doesn't spit debris on hard floors. Charging is simple, and emptying the tray is quick and mess-free. Perfect for quick cleanups anywhere in the house. Forget heavy vacuums - this portable sweeper with exceptional performance is a MUST-HAVE!

good quality sweeper
For the money, it is a good buy. Assembly was easy, and the sweeper works well on my tile floors, and low carper rugs. Very pleased with the purchase. My old sweeper would not pull debris out of the grout between tiles, this one does. The dirt tray is a good size and easy to remove.

Lightweight & easy to handle.
This one’s a winner! I was in the market for a carpet sweeper for small jobs and touch ups, and I came upon this one; it’s a little workhorse! It’s battery charged, gets under and around everything. I love that it’s self propelled and is rechargeable. I used it for over an hour and it was still charged. The handle is comfortable I would say, even for arthritis sufferers whose hands are compromised, it’s not just a stick! Cleanup is so simple, too. I’m entertaining thoughts of getting another one just for my sewing room! Don’t let this one get away!

This is an excellent carpet/floor sweeper. Great if you have a dog bringing in leaves, grass or even small gravel. It is surprising how much fluff you find when you come to emptying the dirt container which is very easy to do. Lightweight and easy to control. Run time is very good and easy to charge. I use it daily and wouldn't be without it. Marvellous machine and good price.

Good points, very light to move around, very easy to use, picks up everything well. Fully charged in 4 hours, Not so good points- first sweeper that was delivered was faulty, the motor had a piercing high pitched screech. I ordered a replacement and arranged return of faulty sweeper at no cost via pick up. Some tips- the middle section of the pole needs to be turned upside down to secure it. The charger is inside the collection bin section. After then reading reviews I realised some others have had a piercing noise and other issues. If you are unlucky and get a sweeper making a terrible noise, this is not normal so get a replacement if you wish to try your luck. To remove collection tray may be tricky for anyone with weak hands. May get easier with practise. Is it better than a manual sweeper, I think so its lighter and picks up well. It doesn't like fluffy rugs though it gets stuck, flat rugs are fine. Used on low pile carpet, lino, floor tiles and flat rugs. All in all eventually a good buy with perseverance for the price which was at the time £57.65 one week ago. I wouldn't pay more

This is a great sweeper and I am really impressed it is light weight and easy to use but very powerful I have a dog so bits on the door mats easy to remove no need to get the Dyson out. The delivery was very quick would recommend to all

Any vacuum cleaner is only as good as your motivation to use it - and in my case, vacuuming is a job I can very happily overlook. At least this used to be the case until I bought this little GTECH sweeper... We have a very efficient 'Henry' vacuum cleaner which does an excellent job - or it would if I could be bothered to lug it around the house, plug it in, vac a room, lug it to the next, plug it in etc. The reality is that using a conventional vacuum cleaner is a tedious chore and it can take a couple of hours to vac the house. This Gtech has happily put an end to all that. I keep it in the hall, charge it after each use and then it's always ready to do a quick sweep up. I can do the entire house in 10-15 minutes and it's easy. The sweeper is lightweight so no need to lug it around and, best of all, it's rechargeable so I can use it anywhere, including outside in my motorhome. It might not be quite as effective as industrial-Henry but it picks up fresh fluff from our carpets daily - in fact, it actually picks up so much that I wonder where exactly it has all come from. It's quick and easy to use, sucks up a surprising (and rather shocking!) amount of dust, hair, fluff, crumbs, grit etc and is a doddle to empty via its slide-out dust tray. Stairs can be a bit more tricky but I just run it along the length of each step, backwards and forwards - it's a bit awkward but it does the job. Because it doesn't have any accessories, it isn't going to vac upholstery, chairs, curtains or cobwebs off the walls nor will it get into a few very tight spaces reached only via a hose but there has to be a compromise somewhere. The compromise here is that the house is now vacuumed almost daily instead of monthly (at best), the carpets always have that 'just vac'd' appearance and vacuuming is no longer a chore. The design is its best feature - keeping the brush roller and dustpan close together, means it doesn't need to be a high-powered beast - the dust only has to be swept a few centimetres rather than sucked along a tube and upwards into a higher dustbag. My only quibble is the swivel fitting to the rear of the dustpan. It's made from plastic, is put under some strain in use, particularly when the sweeper is dragged sideways across a floor, and I fear it might break at some point. I note that replacement parts are readily available - good to know they're there if needed; not so good to suspect they might be regularly sold. Minor quibbles aside, I would have no hesitation in buying the same again and if hibernated-Henry ever fails then I'd replace him with the high-power Gtech Air-Ram sweeper rather than another plug-in, lug-around vac. For now, however, I am very happy with my SW02. Update: May 2020: the drive belt stretched and needed replacement. Alas, the sweeper has since been updated by GTech and now uses a larger belt which doesn't fit its predecessor. Disappointing but after years of excellent service I happily bought the newer version of the SW02 and would still happily recommend it.

I have had four of this sweeper in the past that stored the battery charger in the dust collection slide out tray while in transit with no problems removing it during unpacking. This model uses a small charging base which is stored in th dust tray, I could not slide the tray open because the charger mains cable was tangled up in the brush bar. It took half hour to untangle and slide out the dust draw without damaging anything. After all that the sweeper worked well as expected. Final note the charging base is difficult to use if it is on a carpet it suits a hard surface better.
