I had this and a plastic bin filled with cold water to stick my feet in (blood went to feet, got cold, circulated to rest of body) and I was usually able to get relatively comfortable on even the hottest days, even with my beefy PC running. Now, I've moved into an apartment with very small windows in the livingroom. I've got a portable air conditioner coming later this week, which is obviously better for 6 times the price.... Bottom line is this: if you're in a pinch, this will help you quite a bit, but it's not going to drop the room temp 20 degrees or anything like that. It's essentially a cold water humidifier with a small, but powerful fan. Review: cool light... but that's it - This is honestly more like a humidifer if anything. Even if you add ice cold water it still is worthless. It's an ozone fogger people use for Halloween. A cheap 15$ fan would be better this even on full power didnt do anything or blow cold air. The ozone mist it sprays in front of tiny low powered fan is worthless. Would make a cool humidfier but during the heat it seriously just makes everything worse. The lighting effects are cool though

Air Conditioner
This is not a Air Conditioner ! This unit is a Air Cooler. I put water and Ice in it to cool me down while the fan blow out cool air on me not cold air. This unit do not cool the entire bedroom it is a personal air cooler. When it is sitting near you it only cool you not the entire room.

Cute little personal cooler
Was pleasantly surprised when this arrived to find it was small enough to comfortably fit on the bedside table. It's not whisper quiet but if you don't mind a hum and, well, trickling water, you should be alright for sleeping. The fan creates a cooling mist, which you can direct up, down, or straight ahead. I used distilled water since the manufacturer suggested it. Have no clue what happens if you use regular tap water - something about keeping the filter clear of impurities. To get a cooler mist I also used refrigerated water, might even use ice cubes (tbd) and see if that emits colder air. I also used a regular oscillating fan to help spread the mist. This is a personal cooler and is definitely not for cooling a room. All in all, I like it. Very easy to set up and use. Unpack, fill, plug in and voila - all done. And it has a nifty handle. Remember to look under the fan for the cord. It comes very neatly packed in a white box that I almost threw away because it was so neatly packed. Lol. My only disappointment is that I don't think it can work independently of the cord so no using outdoors (???)...oh well.

Worth the low price
This device is small and it feels cheap for 40 dollars if it worked great if not well not too bad of a hit. Thankfully it works well. The noise is noticeable but not too distracting. When you are using the water/cool method the water begins to move around which to me sounds like a stream. My son who is 1 year old sleeps with my wife and i. The 3 of us are all sweaty sleepers. Thankfully this has helped cool us significantly. When the device is on my wife's side I don't feel it too much but I am comfortable knowing they are enjoying it. On my side it feels great. I am actually planning on getting another one. I haven't tried the light features or using ice cubes. In terms of ice cubes the manuel doesn't state its use but it does recommend using purified water so i don't see ice being a real option. Either way still glad i bought this

Portable Fan For Baby
Power is suitable for a baby that's how weak the power of the fan is. I don't know where the air conditioner comes in. Had to provide ice every half an hour. Too much work for poor results. Had to push my face up close to vents to feel the air.

Not too cooling
Everything works, just not as powerful as you would like, a step up higher from the dollar store fan that spits out water. Not big enough to cool down a whole room, portable size to fit on ones desk at work or work station. I personally don’t think it’s worth the price at all but each it’s own.

3-in-1 machine
The noise level is about the same noise level as a fan on low. It can cool down around quite quickly depending on the size of the room. It actually holds a lot of ice and you put some essential oils in there and a little bit of water and it evenly distributes them throughout the room. Unfortunately I dropped mine on the concrete trying to come back from a out of town trip needless to say I bought another one which is now white The only thing I would have to say is I wish there was a way you could turn the lights off when it's running.
