Great tool, made in USA!!
Works great!! Pumped the gas out of a leaf vacuum motor tank in seconds, saving alot of time and mess. Saved lots of time and the smell of gasoline on my clothes and the engine.

Fantastic siphon for gas
Summary: This is a fantastic, versatile siphon that works very well and provides great value for the money. It appears to be solidly constructed and looks like it will hold up well to many years of use. Review: I recently moved to a property that requires many more gas-powered tools than I have ever owned in the past, and filling some of these tools using funnels and the nozzles attached to normal red gas cans can be a real pain and invariably leads to spilling no matter how carefully I try to fill them. For example, attempting to fill my utility ATV with any combination of gas can and funnels just makes a big mess every time. I looked at a couple battery powered gas pumps, but they were either astronomically expensive for my purposes or poorly rated (mostly durability issues). Amazon linked this siphon from somewhere I was looking and I was intrigued by the design. I used it yesterday to fill all of my problem containers and it was a fantastic help. No more spills. WAY easier to deal with. I didn't have trouble finding a way to elevate the can above the fill port. I thought I would mostly use the bulb to fill things, but after experimentation, the "jiggler" cap is amazingly effective and produced a better flow, faster, than the bulb. I'm still learning how to use the siphon's features, but this thing is great and solidly built.

Good and Bad - didn't work for me, but should for you
This is a tough review, as the product failed for me but is a good product. The siphon works very well, very easily and is made of good quality materials. The hose is excellent quality and very flexible. That's the issue I ran into. The hose is so flexible that I couldn't work it down into the tank. It just folds over on itself like trying to push a limp piece of spaghetti, it's not happening. My first use was on my daughter's car so I could work on the gas pump. I realize this is the power equipment model, and a car was a bit behind. It didn't work, try and try but I the hose just has no structure to work down to the tank. It ended up wrapped like a coiled snake at best. Never got near the gas. I wish it had more of that stuff tube on the end of the hose, that would've worked better. Ok, no car. Next I tried on our UTV, an old amphibious model from the 80's. Ran into similar issues, this tank has one turn in the gas fill to the tank. The stiff tube went down easily, but as soon as we got to the flexible hose it became nearly impossible to get it any further. Work it a little, push it with a rod, another half inch. Nope. Next was my tow-behind field mower, can stick my finger into the gas below the cap. Whoo hoo, this one was easy and this siphon finally got to work. It did work well, not overly quick, and it wouldn't flow even downhill without stopping - but it worked when the bulb was pumped. Not fast, but it was easy enough and worked well. If the hose was stiffer or had more of the stiff tube on its end, it would be a more versatile product. As is, it works alright for gas tanks with gas just below the cap or perfectly straight shots to the tank. That super flexible, wet spaghetti like hose just kills it for many tasks though. For power equipment, it has worked ok for me. So, there's good and bad with this product. I looked at the higher end model siphon from the same company but it looks like it has lots of the flexible hose again, likely having the same issue.

Great product.
Works like a charm. I had to reorder it because it was missing a part the first time I got it. But, the return process worked great and I had another one on my doorstep a few days later. I was in a Hurricane Milton affected area and I needed this siphon to remove the fuel out of my two backup generators once my power came back up. Also helped my elderly neighbor to do the same. I may get a second as a backup. This kit has the bare essentials, plus the flow stop valve, plus the holder to keep it in place. The weighted end definitely helps to keep it at the bottom of the tank. Easy to operate. Plus the shutoff valve makes it easier to do the job safer and while minimizing fuel loss. Plus this setup eliminates the worry of swallowing fuel. The pump itself is easy to operate and works great. For those with health concerns, it is definitely a safer option. Probably not a bad idea to keep one at home and one in the car in case of disaster scenarios.

Impressive! Simple, effective, high quality, easily removed excess transmission fluid from my truck!
I have a old Ford Ranger that accidentally had 2 quarts too much transmission fluid in it. I bought this pump based on the reviews and very glad I did. Easily removed the excess fluid, didn't spill a drop in the process, couldn't have been easier or more cost effective solution. You can use this pump in two ways, one for gravity feed, other other for non-gravity, which is the method I used. For non-gravity suction, you simply cut about 2 feet (or whatever length you need) off the end (the section with the brass fitting). You attach that smaller piece to the end of the one-way hand pump (arrow pointing towards fluid flow). Then attach the long hose section to other side to the pump. I removed the transmission dipstick and inserted the long end of the hose down. Keep working it down until it hits bottom, trust me it's longer than you think. You think you reached bottom, but you will go in further. I would occasionally hand pump it, if no liquid came out, it meant I haven't reached the bottom yet. Once I hit the bottom of the transmission fluid tube, it immediately started sucking up fluid with each hand pump. I used an empty 1 gallon apple juice container to empty out the fluid. The supplied tube holder worked great in holding the opposite end of the tube. I very quickly pumped out the two quarts I needed removed. Once done, I pulled the tube out and that was it. I really appreciated the quality of this pump. Seems pretty simple, a clear plastic tube and a one-way hand pump. But these guys use quality components, doesn't feel cheap in your hands, solid and strong suction. I know this isn't a throw away item, but something I can use for years. Very impressed with the results and quality!

This works Great!
This setup works GREAT! I've had this for about 9 months now and I use it for de-fueling lawnmowers and generators to keep fresh gas in the tank so it's always ready to run. It'll do 1 gallon in less than 2 minutes.

It works, but very slow and requires alot of pumping.
It's pretty slow and best for small transfers...like lawnmower size tanks.

Best There Is
A siphon is a siphon and all siphons obey the same laws of physics that make them work. But some are more equal than others, and this one is the greatest among all the equals. It is very well made from premium materials manufactured in the USA, but it is the many accessories that come with this unit that provide it with many functions not available in other units. The hose is ⅝” clear heavyweight vinyl made in the USA. Some other units also have ⅝” hose, but not many. If the hose is too small and/or too light weight to keep from crimping the siphon just won’t work. This unit, like some others, is provided with a bulb hand pump to begin the siphon action, or to use as a complete hand pump when using as a vacuum isn’t possible. The differences are that this is the largest squeeze hand pump I have ever seen with the largest flow rate I have seen. The bulb hand pump allows connection and disconnection from the hose by just hand pressure - no clamps. This is handy in many situations - some are listed below. The hand pump has a one way valve that prevents fluid from returning to its source once it has entered this hose. More on this later. The unit hose is equipped with a “Jigger Foot” that allows creating the siphon action by just “jiggering” the source hose up and down to fill the source hose with fluid. This solution by itself is provided by some others, but my experience with them has not been good. This “Jigger Foot” is also a one way valve, and its importance will be described later. The unit provides accessories to secure the source hose in its container, coiled wire to prevent crimping as the source hose leaves the source container, a stabilizing tool to stabilize the hose in the target container. Unlike other units, a manual shutoff valve is provided. This has enormous possibilities, some of which will be discussed. Last of all, the unit comes with a coupling for the hose in case you want to cut the hose in sections and later rejoin the hose. When you combine all of these features you are provided with a system that is limited only by your imagination. Bulb Connect/Disconnect The bulb pump is attached to the hose by friction. This allows using it as best suits the situation. Install it to use the hand pump. Remove it to increase the flow in vacuum mode. Hand Pump and Jigger Foot One Way Valve These valves mean that any fluid pumped into the hose will not return to the source by gravity. That means that you can stop the flow and not need to reprime the system when you want to start it again. Manual Shutoff Valve A manual shut off valve is provided. That means you can stop the flow when desired and start it again when desired. This is a superior system and is worth your consideration. There’s more, but I’m tired of writing.
