Really enjoying this range of coffees

Initially the strong flavour of the 'crema' compared to my usual brands took a bit of getting used to. Quite powerful and a little bit sweet? Still have the rest of the variety pack to taste but so far so good. It is probably good value for proper coffee (certainly compared to the £2.95 a cup you normally get charged in a cafe) but approx. 100% dearer than my usual brand so will probably opt for some of each in the future and save the good stuff as a reward!

On the whole the coffee tastes ok with a solid 7/10. The problem is that in my experience, these pods don't work properly in my Nespresso machine. About fifty percent of the time only clear water comes out, or sometimes the pod releases 95% clear water then gives about 2ml of coffee right at the end. You then have to feed the pod back in and restart the coffee to get it to extract any. This isn't ideal at all because the coffee inside the pod at this point may be already wet. For this reason I can not recommend these pods.

Good coffee but in plastic capsules. This should be specified on description. This used to be aluminium capsules which are better for the environment.

Weak coffee pods so we have to use 2 pods to make 1 coffee. Also all the strengths are exactly the same we cannot taste any difference so 7 tastes exactly same as 11! But you get what you paid I would rather buy 50 double strength pods then getting 100 weak pods. Fits perfectly with our Philips Lor Nespresso machine! 20p per pod but as we using 2 pods works out 40p per cup of coffee is more than what we expected to pay so will have to choose wisely next time when these run out that’s why only gave 2 out of 5!

Smooth.. These espresso capsules work perfectly in any original Nespresso machine. The “Crema” is the foam that rests on top of a freshly pulled shot of espresso. The Crema also reflects the freshness and quality of the coffee. With very subtle notes of chocolate, spice, citrus and nuts that can be found in various capsules depending accordingly, these are delicious. The best taste of any available and better than that the price. There’s nothing worse than a cheap espresso capsule that’s crap. This is the winner for flavor, freshness and price.

If you have a Ninja Barista machine do not get these as they fall through to the water, expunged capsule reservoir. The taste is harsh and kind of stale. Now stuck with these and have to order new.

Do NOT be tempted by the price! I usually purchase the excellent aluminium pods from this seller and, hoping to save some money, decided to try these plastic ones. This was a huge mistake. From the very first pod, the quality issue was obvious: instead of a full espresso shot, the machine yielded less than half a cup. I tried different pods from different packs (they are all different colors) with the same results. More alarmingly, these plastic pods are a major safety concern. They melt and deform inside the coffee machine during brewing! This clearly indicates the plastic used is NOT heat-resistant as it should be. I am now extremely worried about the potential damage these melting pods could do to my health and to the longevity of my coffee machine. The attractive price is not worth the risk, poor results, and safety hazard. Stick to the aluminium variety! Buyer beware!
