Although the apprenticeship program was in it's infancy when the story takes place, the program remains much the same to this day. Very entertaining with a lot of general life lessons. After reading, a person can better understand how a contractor lineman's job differs from those that were brought up through a utility company's system. After seeing some of the sacrifices, challenges, and hazards involved with this career, some people may change their opinion on thinking these highly skilled tradesmen make more money than they deserve. Very entertaining and well written, highly recommended!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Welcome to the world of a lineman!

Accurate portrayal of an apprentice lineman's journey through the IBEW program.
