I've been using this product consistently for 4-5 years. It's always worked wonders for my gut health. Unfortunately, you've changed the formula and now added 4g of protein...not sure why?? It tastes really bad. Please reconsider removing the added protein!

I love the smooth, sweet taste and smell of this gut assist; it tastes like a sweet licorice because of the addition of the aloe. When added to hot water, it comes out like a sweet flavored tea and it goes down easy. The texture is a smooth powder and is not grainy or chalky, it is a similar texture to a quality protein/nutritional flavored drink powder. It is a great size with plenty of servings and wonderful value for the money. For how much it helps and the quality and quantity of the product, it is definitely worth the cost and is not overpriced. The strength and timing of the effects was surprising at first when I didn't know exactly how it was going to work but in use it was consistent and reliable so once I knew how and when to take it, I also knew when the effects were going to start, and it works very well. For example, I took it in the morning as a hot tea and by late afternoon to evening the effects started but it wasn't terrible (just helped in keeping regular) and they finished up the next morning with me able to sleep through the night. With the low sugar content and wonderful quality natural ingredients, it reminds me of a natural version of Miralax (the chalky, nasty laxative, I had to take it often as a kid and hated mixing it into water and drinking it, I am so glad to have this instead) and it works so much better for it while actually helping my body, gut, and immune system. I don't need to take it too often but it is great to have it when I need it so I can have a good, healthy gut reset.
