Wish I'd bought a saw like this years ago....!!
Bought one of these Japanese-type pullsaws as I'm doing a lot more DIY and quite often the usual saws just, ahem, don't cut it (sorry, sorry...). This lightweight saw is easy to use, enabling very fine precision cuts, close to adjacent wood and with a neat finish. There's not much more to add to this, it's a very affordable and seems to be a high quality (if bendy) blade, two different tooth profiles (for soft- and hard-wood aside) and a comfortable enough wooden handle. Can't comment on longevity but I suppose if you don't abuse it and keep it safe in the little plastic cover it should last a good while. As my title says, I wish I'd realised I needed one of these ages ago.

Great pull-saw!
A wonderful new dimension to my woodworking tool box. Great for cutting dowel plugs close to the surface and for trimming thin slices off soft it hardwood.

Bendy
A good quality saw, but very bendy. I've just done a few dovetails and IMHO this saw isn't for beginners - it cuts very accurately but you do need to be careful not to let it bend it during sawing - let the saw do the work (slowly), remember it's pull saw and don't apply any pressure - it takes patience but it's excellent quality and does the job.

Fabulous, flexible, functional
Finishing off a pocket-socket table, I needed something to flush cut the dowels I inserted to cover the screw holes. This does the job perfectly - sharp, and with hard/softwood sides to use which are equally effective. The blade flex also means I can get in close in tricky tight corners. Now a much loved addition to my toolset.

One of my favourite tools
Several months ago I under took a improvement project of replacing my banister, spindles, rails and so on. This saw was perfect for the precision cuts required and for flush cutting dowel into Newell posts, amazingly so. Double sided saw with one side for soft wood and one for hard wood. Very easy to use, comfortable to use also, a good size handle makes it less annoying and tiresome to cut and being a fine saw the blade flexes nicely but never gets damaged so is sturdy under pressure and it comes at a good price, a price I think is well worth it. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic saw
Absolutely love this saw. I will be buying a bigger version at some point. This cuts and leaves a smooth edge, it's very precise and no messy shavings, just a bit of dust when soft wood is cut. So far I've built ceiling to floor clothes hangers with shelves and a 4 tier shelf unit for my games consoles using just this saw. It's so easy to use. I find this type of saw a bit expensive but in comparison to other models out there this is value for your money. My only gripe would be the flimsyness of the blade, which I know it has to be, but I have almost snapped it once or twice. If you are into a bit of DIY woodworking then this is a must have for your tool box..

The best widely available saw, sharp, precise cuts, Blade is hard too," Mostly we use it for flush cutting the plugs in joineries. It makes the final sanding and finishing too much easier.

Bought this to cut some oak, and as another review mentioned, it cuts like a warm knife through butter. By putting 0 pressure and letting the blade do its thing, it made a very precise thin cut with no effort. When I received it I was a little skeptical that a saw this small could go through oak easily, but it convinced me very quickly. What also surprised me is how smooth the wood was after it was cut. As is typical for Japanese saws, it cuts on the pull motion instead of the push, which took 10 secs to retrain my muscle memory. This blade is very bendy, and I found if I used too much pressure, it jiggled like Santa's belly, which is a great indicator to ease up on the pressure.
