This makes me feel much better getting up on this high step especially when it is wet. I was lucky my step is the same 9 inch width of skateboards. The main reason I purchased this is the waterproof description. I live on the Oregon Coast and it is pretty much always raining. So far it has been through a couple of downpours over the last two weeks and seems to be holding strong. It is also nice to know if it does fail this was a two pack so I can just apply the other sheet. The texture is a like a medium grit sandpaper but much thicker. It's got a very coarse grit, which is great for filing a dog's nails... and probably not slipping on stairs and skateboards, idk, I have not used it for the intended purpose.
