My hit yoga instructor recommended getting a yoga mat towel for grip and ease of clean. It turns out I CAN do the downward Dog, I just didnt have a good grip before! The towel is very good quality, has a good thickness, and it works amazingly. I haven't experienced any shrinkage and I've washed it many times over the past year. It keeps me and my mat from dry and cool during my hot yoga sessions and its super easy to use.

I have had this towel for a little over a year and it is the best yoga towel of the three that I purchased, by far. In fact, this is the same thin microfiber type of towel that my studio hands out. I am one of those people who slides all over the place and I would have a hard time without a towel. My studio has water bottles in the classrooms so that folks can spray their towels before class and I spray both ends of the towel and that's what makes it non-slip for me. I think it also depends on the type of mat you have. Don't skimp on the mat. At first I did not want to spend the $$ but then I ended up replacing my mat for a Manduka Pro and I LOVE it. OK, back to the towel. I just ordered another one of these because I am doing yoga 4x per week and my other towels don't make me as happy as this one. This one by Yogitoes is OK but it's bulky and I slip less on my Gosweat microfiber which costs half as much. It is thicker than the Gosweat, really soft but I slide on it. I do hot yoga and Vinyasa and I want a towel that is thin, lightweight, non-slip and dries quickly. The Gosweat dries REALLY quickly, too.

I have been practicing yoga on and off for over 10 years. Even while doing regular temperature yoga I would sweat A LOT from my hands and feet; the drawback of having palmer and plantar hyperhydrosis (don't know what that is? look it up and thank your lucky stars you don't suffer from it). I used a hand towel and a larger bath towel so that I wouldn't slip and slide all over the yoga mat. I just started doing hot yoga and the towel thing was NOT working. It was constantly bunching up and was difficult to keep in place. I then searched on the web and read many reviews on the various yoga towels out there. I think this must be a relatively new thing because 10+ years ago I didn't know any such thing existed. I wanted a product that was of excellent quality, did what it said it would do, and came in at a price point between $20 and $40. A bonus item for me was color choices. I used this towel for the first time for a hot yoga class that was at 105 degrees. I did have to spray the towel initially in order to get my hands and feet not to slip initially, but after getting started the sweat was definitely enough to keep the towel damp enough for no slipping to occur. There was a tiny bit of bunching of the towel but I don't think you can ever really get away from that. It was definitely a night and day difference over using my standard towels. I have just purchased a second towel so that I can wash one and use one. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and with a price point between $18 and $20 for a towel that covered my standard mat on all sides with a 1-2 inch extra, it has surpassed all my expectations. The bonus is that this towel comes in a lot of wonderful solid colors. I didn't want any designs to distract from my practice.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I wanted a yoga blanket I could use in hot yoga to prevent me from slipping and to protect my mat from sweat. This arrived exactly as pictured. It is a microfiber feel and appears very sturdy quality fabric. The seams are in good repair and the overall blanket is of high quality. The color is as expected and pretty. The reason I am giving 4 stars is because it’s not 100% slip resistant. I have washed it several times now in the washer and ran through the dryer with no issues and the product has held up nicely.

10/10 the PERFECT towel for yoga or Pilates. Non slip. Easy to laundry in washing machine & easy to dry in dryer. Still soft after several wash and use.

I've been using this towel for almost a year in my hot yoga classes and the quality is still great, the size is perfect and it doesn't slip. I bought one for my partner and he only had to dampen it a little the first time and now it works great.

Super ligera y absorbente, Funciona ! no te resbalas, pero tiene que haber algo de humedad, si no sudas o si el clima es completamente seco te resbalaras, recomiendo para climas húmedos/calientes o si sudas mucho durante tu practica
