Designed to enhance communication and comfort, it’s perfect for horses transitioning to more advanced training levels or competing in dressage, combining precision control with a horse-friendly fit. ## Description Stainless steel egg butt with stainless steel comfort snaffle (MB 04) copper insert mouth About the mouthpiece: The 04 mouthpiece is similar to the 2 inch (5.1 cm) that it rotates on the tongue and exerts tongue pressure; however, it has a slight (ΒΌ") port that allows the horse to swallow as it moves forward, relaxes. This connector introduces some tongue relief to the horse. The bars of the bit are curved so that the bit wraps the horse's bars and lips instead of pinching them when it turns onto the tongue. The curve makes more space for the horse's tongue under the bit. The centre shaft is the same width as the centre piece of a traditional three-piece mouthpiece, so approximately the same pressure is applied to the tongue. However, the shaft distributes pressure more friendly than the traditional centrepiece, creating an independent side movement. The 04 provides an excellent transition from Level One to Level Two. It is similar to the 02, but with a ΒΌ-inch connector that introduces tongue relief.
