Had it fitted to my 1993 mitsubishi pajero six months ago and it hasn't missed a beat . Brilliant functionality , it can hotspot from my phone for internet ,or Bluetooth . Would 100% recommend , better than other units that's are far more expensive . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it says on the tin and good value, some annoyances *by A***R on 4 September 2020* I fitted this to a 2000 Mercedes SLK about 4 months ago. I wanted a bigger screen to use SatNav etc. I like it, but It has some annoying traits - its an android device and when you leave it, it shuts down, so you have to wait for it to boot up when you get back in the car. Ive been lazy and not plumbed it into my aerial as the aerial needs replacing so I just bluetooth it to my phone and use the phone and data - this works quite well. The bluetooth connection is quite reliable. The screen pops out automatically if you left it out when you switched it off and puts itself away when you switch off which I think is quite cool. My screen obscures my temperature control so bear that in mind when you buy it but thats not the units fault. My model isnt automatically compatible with Android auto to check the model you are buying. Ive bought another device from Parrot to make this work but havent tried this yet. It has an app that lets you mirror your phone if you plug in into the usb which works fine, BUT it mirrors the portrait landscape orientation on the phone - maybe I could lock it in landscape havent tried. The connection into my car worked straight away. I found the support for it very good when I explained myself properly - they responded within a day every time and gave me a good deal on the android auto dongle. On balance, very pleased with this - I couldnt find anything else for the money and it works ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really really wanted to like this. (Edit mar 2021) *by D***Y on 16 June 2020* (Update dec 2020)The unit has developed an issue with the screen opening from the unit. I messaged pumpkin customer services about it. They went through some troubleshooting techniques with me. As this had no effect on the issue they have since sent me a replacement. The customer service has been really good.First one arrived dead. I returned it for a replacement. All I can say is wow. It’s a really impressive unit for the money. That extra gig of ram over the cheaper units makes a big difference. It’s really snappy and I’ve not noticed any lag navigating the menus. Good buy and good qualityUpdate March 2021.Unit is dead. Screen motor failed and was stuck out as a result. It cannot do more than two things at once. If you open sat nav Bluetooth crashes.
