Awesome book for houseplant lovers! Bought this book for my girlfriend who has been getting into houseplants recently... she LOVED it! It has amazing photos and information throughout the entire encyclopedia! Great gift for any plant lover, I can imagine it will look great on her coffee table and will start many conversations. I saw this book in Barnes and Noble and wanted to give it as a gift but it was 59.99 and I couldn't do it. I was so happy to find this on Amazon at a much better price, and ordered it immediately. It was a big hit as a gift for a plant loving person.

My wife is a houseplant assassin. You think she's there to take care of them, nurture them, provide them needed sustenance in exchange for their lush greenery. She seems like she really cares. She checks the soil regularly, waters the plants judiciously, and prunes them to make room for new growth. She cares. Really. And them BAM, plant drops dead without warning. My wife feigns innocence, but we all know what happened here. Death by too much care. Anywho, I got her this book and fewer plants are dropping dead. COINCIDENCE? I think not. Beautiful book. Very informative.
