Monster High Howleen Costume

My daughter LOVED this costume!! We got it just to play around in, and I had a hard time getting her to take it off. It is very well made and I liked that the dress was not super short! The jacket is really cool too and that and the pink tights were my daughters favorite part. It ran very true to size so if you want to wear it for a long while I may suggest ordering a size up ;) I know she will enjoy this costume very much!!

This costume was a nice costume, well made, but we felt that the sizes of the different pieces were mismatched. My daughter is tiny, so we got the small, as we'd expect the belt was falling off her waist, the dress was appropriately sized for her, if a little long. The tights were perfect. But the jacket was tiny, she could barely fit it, it made no sense whatsoever. Aside from the sizing issues, it was a great costume. The only other gripe I had was that the costume was a little ambiguous. Not many people knew what she was supposed to be with the lack of ears/wig. But she had a great Halloween.

This costume was perfect for my Howleen. We have even used it over the last few months as a dress up costume and it has held up really well. The fishnet tights are so cute! My daughter really loved the little purple bolero, as well. The wig was perfect for her, although I did have to cut the bangs a bit so they would stay out of her eyes, but that didn't come with the costume. Other than that, this was a fantastic product!

I got this costume for my 7 year old daughter to wear for Halloween. She specifically wanted to be this character and I was pleased I could find it for a reasonable price. What you get: - Cropped purple vinyl jacket - Stretchy slip-on tank dress - Belt, secured with Velcro - One black fingerless glove - Full-length pink fishnet stockings You do NOT get: - Pink wig (sold separately) - Hat with ears (sold separately) - Boots - Cosmetics (lip color, fangs, etc.) My daughter’s measurements (for reference) Waist: 24" Chest: 25.5" Hips: 26" Sleeve: 14" Inseam: 20" The size Medium fit her very well. The jacket was snug; I think if she was at all bigger across the shoulders, it would have been too tight. I felt the tank dress was a little long, and we were concerned that when she wore her black boots you wouldn’t see the stockings. I think it worked out ok. The belt was too big to fit around her middle. I ended up using a safety pin to cinch it tighter. Fortunately I already had a pink cosplay wig for her to wear, and we bought a cheap black stocking cap at a dollar store. We planned to use felt to make the ears but ended up finding a stuffed dog toy at the dollar store’s clearance bin for 30 cents, so we sacrificed it for ears. Don’t tell my daughter :-) Overall the quality of this costume is similar to others in this price range; it’s not something that will hold up to repeated wearing, and it’s unlikely it will go through the laundry and come out in one piece, but she’s had a few Halloween events this year that she’s needed to dress up for, and it’s holding together pretty well so far. Considering the convenience, I think this is a reasonably-priced costume solution.

Fits perfect! My daughter is a 7/8 and slender. The medium was right on. Sooo cute! In case you were wondering...the wig is separate and worth the money. It Really makes the costume. The pink fishnets are girly and not too sexy....if your daughter likes Monster High, she will love this rendition of Howleen from thirteen wishes

We bought this for my daughter's Halloween costume. She loves it. The wig that is sold along side this one is far overpriced. We bought the Strawberry Shortcake wig at half the price and it works perfect, truer to the color hair that the dolls have.

For me its either hit or miss. there is no size chart hard to tell how it will look super useful that would be since online. However, I had to use a couple different size charts and average it out but it didn't seem to work either. when reading other reviews on inconsistencies of pieces. I went with large to be the safest. The dress is really big for my daughter. The jacket is really tight on arms like someone said. Im glad I didn't get medium it may not have fit my 9 year old who wears like 7 or 8 sizes in clothing. Im glad I got the wig because im not sure it would work with out I never by other pieces but like I said it seems hit or miss...being able to pull it off. I got if for Halloween coming up.

Mein Tochter wächst scheinbar so rasch, dass wir bereits Ende Volksschule auf Erwachsenen Kostüme von Monster High umsteigen müssen. Für große Girls mit 155cm-keine Chance. Nur was für zarte Mauserl. Aber nett anzusehen.
