## Description

The FLIR MR176 Imaging Moisture Meter with IGM is an all-in-one tool equipped with a built-in thermal camera that can show you exactly where to measure moisture. Featuring Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM) technology, the FLIR MR176 helps you quickly scan and target moisture issues, visually guiding you to the spot where you can confidently take measurements and analyze readings. An integrated pinless sensor and an external pin probe provide the flexibility to take either non-intrusive or intrusive measurements. Coupled with a field-replaceable temperature and relative humidity sensor, and automatically calculated environmental readings, the FLIR MR176 delivers added convenience and ease of use, producing the right measurements faster. Note: Pin Sensor measurements are provided as a percentage of moisture content; Pinless Sensor measurements are provided as a relative value requiring comparison to a known dry surface. This Thermal Imaging Product with a frame rate of 9Hz or less are controlled by the U.S. Department of Commerce and classified under Export Control Classification Number (“ECCN”) 6A993.a for U.S. export control purposes and may not be exported, re-exported, or transferred to a “Military End-User” in any country except the U.S. or Canada, except as approved under a U.S. export or re-export license. “Military End-User” means national armed services (army, navy, marine, air force, coast guard), national guard, national police, government intelligence or reconnaissance organizations. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Overpriced for what it does

It's a really nice product, I'm a mold assessor. But for $1,200. You can buy the correct tools. For a lot less. This tool is very confusing. It's like learning how to use a computer after you had brain damage. My 3D imaging gun that's $500 has more pixels and works better than this. I have a general tool while moisture meter that cost 50 bucks and it works equally as good as this. I have a temperature humidity tool that cost 60 bucks. It works better than this. See what I'm saying is you got three tools that cost a lot less money than this and they work all equally as good as this and all you have to do on those other tools is turning on button and poke the thing in the wall. The other tool I turn it on I set it on the kitchen counter it tells me the humidity and the temperature of the place. And my 3D imaging gun with infrared all I do is turn it on and point it and press the button and it takes a picture and when I get back to my office I plug it into my computer and I can download the picture from it so much easier. And if one tool breaks you just buy a new one this is so confusing. I am at one man one person one owner of the company. it's very rare people ask me if I have one of these tools. I was on a job about a week and a half ago doing apartments where I live and they're very upscale and expensive and the maintenance guy. Had a maintenance ask me do I have the flir tool. I said no but I have tools that are equal any kind of look down upon me. It wasn't his tool it was the company he works for his tool I tried his tool with my tool and I got the same readings on moisture and temperature and humidity when I check for moisture I just look for numbers that are higher than areas where there's no moisture that it can already tell so areas that have water damage I know the moisture will read higher and areas that don't have water damage it reads lower. Also this is why you're seeing. These prices on this where it says buy like new for $800 biy used in good shape$700. Anyway if the tool works for you. I think that's great and I hope you make a lot of money. This is why I didn't give it five stars. Just because it's overpriced and confusing.
