This is the first product that actually worked on the eczema on my scalp. I had 4-5 dime sized spots that would never get any better no matter what prescription I tried. In the last 4 years, I have tried RX Clobetasol, Coal tar products, 6 different dandruff shampoos , 3 different dermatologist docs , oils, lotions, 3% salicylic acid products said 3% salicylic acid products helped a little but not enough to shrink the spots . So i tried this product with 12% salicylic acid and after just 2 weeks 2 of the spots are gone and the other spots are shrinking. It does burn a little, but nowhere near what other reviewers have said. If you are over 5 years old the burn won't bother you. I never write reviews, but if this product can help someone else, it was worth the time to write the review. For reference I am a 65 year old white male who has had this eczema problem for 4 years

I use this for seborrheic dermatitis, and like everything else, not everything works for everyone. If you use this full strength, stand in front of a fan, because the fan definitely lessens the sting. Although I sometimes use this full strength, if SD is really itchy, I normally pour this into 8oz of my favorite lotion and go from there if I know I’m getting ready to have a flare up. This is a medicine cabinet staple for me. I pour it into a 12oz bottle of lotion and my lotion instantly becomes an exfoliating lotion, which is great if you have body acne. This is a handy product for all types of skin issues.

I have psoriasis , not very severe in places I have hair, scalp, etc. This product works very well, sparingly. I accidently put too much on scalp, and it did burn, had to put under running water for a few minutes. It is not for use on genital area or any area where the skin is very sensitive. For use on scalp, it works great. I had an old Scalpicin bottle and put the Zema intro it where I had control of the amount I used, as it was a squeeze bottle with adjustable cap. I would recommend it as it is effective on areas it should be used.

I have Graft vs Host Disease (GVHD) on various parts in my body. My scalp hurts & itches like heck. I'm trying homeopathic options, as nothing cures it. I just want relief. I read great reviews about this product. Got it today & joyfully (and carefully with a surgical glove) applied this to my scalp. At first, it soothed. Within a minute, my scalp felt like it was on fire. I tried waiting it out. Um, no. So I shampooed it. Still burning. I applied 3 different lotions just to counter the burning sensation. So, it might work well if one can tolerate that burning sensation. I cannot.

I am trying to treat toenail fungus and expect it to take a couple years but that is better than kidney damage from systemic fungicide pills. It topically kills fungus, digests dead tissue so it can be removed, encourages skin renewal. I am using it in combination with a fungicidal cream. Remove dead tissue, trim nail close, apply Zema, then the cream. It seems to be slowly working. The price makes the effort an affordable experiment. The other ingredients have a pleasant smell. I have also cleared up some dry red skin spots with it.
