Just what I needed to do a Delia
Found this flour was perfect for an old Delia Smith recipe for a quick whole meal bread that doesn’t need kneading. (It’s in the completely cookery course book). Really pleased with it. I used the half-half version of the recipe where you use half plain bread flour and it’s my new go to loaf when I’ve run and out and need to cook up a quick loaf. It’s so hard to find organic brown bread where i live that isn’t dry as a bone or extortionate. If you have this problem I recommend this flour and Delia’s old recipe. It makes a little loaf but it’s just enough for two big people and two little people for a day or so. Keeps well/freezes well and has a lovely flavour that even my children like when it’s freshly baked and still warm.

I’m so angry. Amazon is always a great price. So I trusted that this was a good price for exceptional good quality. Just seen it on sale in a bakery for £2.50. Feel totally ripped off

I made my first sourdough bread adding 100gr of this flour and it turned to be an excellent taste. Something about this flour makes the dough very tasty. Working with the sourdough was easy too. Maybe how they process it makes the flour superior to the American flours. I'll be buying again. It was long wait but I love baking breads with it. Pricey but excellent quality. Highly recommended.

When visiting Ireland in 2016 we loved the Irish Soda Bread. We were disappointed to find that we could not find the Wholemeal flour that they used in the USA. Dove's Farm Wholemeal flour is now available on Amazon in the USA and this makes a world of difference!! We are now making a loaf every 3 days and it is delicious. I'm using the recipe from America's Test Kitchen.
