Imaginary Fred Hardcover – September 29, 2015

This was a magical and exciting book to read in a social skills group about friendship! The two kids in the group were 5 and 7 years old. They giggled at the drawings, and enjoyed looking around the pages to see how the pictures matched the text I was reading. It's an uplifting story of growing and accepting.

Once in awhile a book comes along that so completely melts your heart and you want to buy a copy for every person in your life. Imaginary Fred is that book. The story is so simply beautiful and the artwork is lovely. This is one of those perfect comminglings of author and artist...I cannot imagine any other art to accompany the words. Or any other words to accompany the art?

This book was a delight. It was witty which makes it a fun read for the parent and had a message about friendship that I found refreshing. My kids are 4 and 7 and it worked for both of them.

Love the artwork and story, but it's a bit long for a children's book (just my opinion).

It was a sweet story. Anyone who has had, or had a child who had, an imaginary friend will appreciate it.

Gifted to a young family with a toddler entering that imaginary friend stage. She loved it.

Very cute! My 4 1/2 year old has wanted to read this book every night since we got it.
