This assures that your screen remains protected from dings and scratches regardless of the case being there. Next is the material, it is a bit stiff but it is absolutely shock resistant. It doesn’t feel or look cheap, the material is grainy and sparkly while maintaining a matte look. Out of the box the design definitely looks like there is a team dedicated to styling so there’s some good form to function and the aramid fiber details and slightly glossy logo details add a nice touch to styling. The fact that Spigen is one of the only brands that commits to using actual metal parts like they did with the buckle (and they do with carabiners etc.) adds to the quality product. Another seriously nice touch and attentive detail is the free loop. You can lock it into the adjustment hole closest to the edge of the strap to keep it from popping out while securing the band so it doesn’t come loose.
