Long lasting
I bought these boots a year ago. These boots have lasted me longer than any boost I’ve ever worn being a welder our boots get destroyed in about 6 months depending on the type of welding. I’m a mig welder welding on galvanized steel, so lots of spatter and sparks. The guard on top of the laces WAS really good at keeping the sparks and spatter out of my boots and off my laces, however about 5 months in the guards broke off where they were sewn in, so I ended up having to cut them off, still the leather lip kept 90% of the sparks off the top of my foot the laces just needed to be replaced every once in awhile which they aren’t expensive or hard to replace. The insoles needed to be replaced about 6 months in, also not a big deal. The steel toe doesn’t get in the way of the wiggle room and the boots remained comfortable throughout their use. The boots are still wearable a year in, but they are starting to fall apart from the stitching being burnt and broken. I’m sure if you do any work that doesn’t involve fast paced movement throughout the day and sparks falling on top of the boots constantly, these boots will last you a year and a half to two years, I personally love these boots and will be buying another pair.

Wear good work socks..
I love the way they felt I can't wait to try them out on Monday morning. I had to make sure that my work boots had a metacarpal protector. Which for me was hard to find.. I mean let's be honest if a 45,000 lb steel coil lands on top of my foot I don't think it's going to do any good but it sure makes me feel safe!!!, 😁✌🏽

Great boot for work for some jobs.
First off, I really love these boots!Very comfortable and most importantly safe. I had many 10-20 pound object drop and bounce right of the met guard. Not a light weight boot, I’d like to rate it at the heaviest boot to run around with out of all the pair I’ve ever worked in. Like I was mentioning before the met guard will save your foot many time and best part about it is the peace of mind when working. Sometimes things fall and knowing I have a little more protection over my foot, makes my job a heck of a lot better. Now nothing is perfect! These boots all though look beast!!!Take hits like beasts!!!!Will not hold up on fast paced work.I work with rebar and it’s fast and it’s non stop dirt, cement, gavel, and metal I run around in. These boots are heavy and I expected them to take the beating. They do well, but the down side all 3 pair that I’ve owned blow out. The stitching on the soles just can’t handle the abuse. My right foot is my plant foot in most carries and quick turns with me carrying 10-100 pounds at a time. Or sometimes small weight but back and forth step. In a work line or welding these are maybe the best boots for that, but honest in a outside non stop work flow you get about 4-5 months. And it’s the stitching not the met guard or the leather. The damage is because the boot just couldn’t hold up, no cuts no tears, but blow outs. Hope this helps.

Great work boot
My husband loves the durability of this boot. He did say the boots were a bit hard but we purchased some insoles and it fixed the issue. His feet stay dry and the grip at the bottom gives him that extra security when going up and down ladders. They look and are a great pair of work boots.

Great Workboot
Hubby loves these boots. He's on his 4th pair of Timberland's. They are on the heavier side, but expected with the type of boot it is. He usually wears his boots for a couple of days to get them broke into before work, but these seemed to not need it. They were perfect fit and comfortable from the beginning. All in all a great boot for a great price.

Comfy boots
I had been wearing redwings for a year and a half that felt like standing in concrete. These had good ratings for comfort so I decided to give them a shot. I have to walk a LOT and these boots are comfortable to walk and stand in. I deal with a lot of moisture and they keep me dry and I also deal with some pretty serious heat and they keep my feet protected there also.I wear them a little on the loose side cause one of the eyelets/grommets wants to rub on the right foot if they are tied too tight.
