## Description

Product Description Getting a flat and being unable to break the lug bolts loose is never a worry with the EZ-Lug lug nut removal -ool. The patented double socket design has a 32:1 reduction ratio that allows the tool to do all the work. The 3 pound unit comes with a 17, 19, 21mm and extension sockets. This tool kit can be used with virtually all cars, pick-up trucks, and boat trailers. desertcart.com Everyone knows a standard lug wrench is a clumsy tool--and it's certainly the last thing you want to wrestle with when you're on the side of the highway in a rainstorm trying to change a flat tire before it gets dark. The patented EZ-Lug, on the other hand, makes it simple to loosen or tighten lug nuts, even those that have been tightened by a mechanic or at the factory. The user merely fits the EZ-Lug over one bolt, places the second adjustable socket over the opposing bolt for leverage, then cranks. The inner gears do the work to easily remove a lug nut of most any size. The cast-aluminum EZ-Lug includes the EZ-Lug unit, a hand crank, and size 17, 19, and 21 sockets. There's no longer any reason to pity people for having a flat tire; now we just pity them for not owning an EZ-Lug.

Review: EZ--Lug wrench review - The "leverage socket screw knob" has a design flaw, at least, when use with the extensions and on truck lugs. The bolt that is evidently spot welded into the knob breaks out. In our case there was rust between the bolt surface and the knob surface however we re-welded it and the bolt itself broke. This is because the loosness of the set up that puts the wrench in a bind with all the pressure being transfered to the knob. We cut down and ground down the sides of another extension and made a part that allows us to use it.
Review: Works perfectly - I have used this wrench to remove lug nuts that were tight as can be; and it worked great! This product is so easy to use, a chimpanzee could be taught to remove your tire by using it. However, use common sense: do not wait until you get a flat on a dark road in the pouring rain to use it for the first time. Try it out in your garage before you throw it into your trunk. I see that reviewers have complained that the thing snaps and breaks. I can see a reason for this. It is not difficult to crank the lug nut tighter instead of looser by mistake. You must crank in the correct direction. This device can generate an unbelievable amount of torque. If you mistakenly torque a lug nut tighter - one that you are trying to remove - then yes, the wrench may snap (and that's a GOOD thing! Better to snap the wrench than the lug bolt on your wheel!). It is not especially easy to see the on/off direction arrows, especially at night. Because of the gears, if you are trying to remove a nut, you have to crank in the opposite direction compared to using a normal 4-way lug wrench (the iron "plus sign" shaped lug net wrench) - this is quite anti-intuitive. Again, try it out before using it for your first flat tire. I have come up with a GREAT idea. After several months, I decided to make sure I knew how to use this device, so I again read the instructions and tried it out on my cars. Yes, the instructions are simple, but I still had to read them over again - something I would not care to do if I had a flat at night in the pouring rain. In addition, since this product is designed for multiple purposes (car, boat, truck), you have to ignore instructions and hardware parts that you don't need. So - when you buy this device, simply fully assemble it, leave it assembled, and throw it in your trunk. It is quite compact. Now, theoretically, 98% of all users could throw the case and instructions away (but nobody will as we are all pack rats). The following caution applies DOUBLE to this device! I have decided to add the following to all my reviews: Beware! Some "reviewers" will trash a product for no reason simply because they sell competitive products or are paid to do so. Other "reviewers" will give products - that they have never seen and never used - glowing 5 star ratings - for a fee. Some honest reviewers do not understand what a product is for or how to use it and will trash a product simply because they are just plain dumb.

### ⭐ I do not recommend it
*by J***R on February 10, 2007*

I bought the EZ-lugnut to install my winter tires. I read the instructions and I proceed to remove the nut lugs, the first lug was removed fine, when I tried to remove the second one, the wrench snapped in half.
