Good size dial you can see it easily, appears to be accurate, and also proves how far out the cooker temperatures are 👍

I bought the Taylor oven thermometer to check the accuracy of my oven because I’ve replaced the oven element recently and believed the new element wasn’t up to the job. The Taylor thermometer showed that my oven was definitely under performing by as much as 40 degrees.Another new element has now been fitted and the oven is much better with regard to performance. And the Taylor thermometer proved its worth.There is however a small problem with this thermometer in that the dial is a pale grey colour and is not easy to read without a good torch. Also. after only a few uses the dial has gone even paler in colour though the accuracy remains the same. I can recommend the thermometer as an accurate tool but I would like it even more if the dial was more durable.I like to leave mine inside the oven all the time so discolouration shows that it is deteriorating which is why I have not given it a full 5star rating.

Wanted to check our electric oven as suspected it wasn’t controlling to temp so brought this. Superb piece of kit and is versatile for any oven.Can be hung on the trays or free standing, it certainly helped us to understand what our problem was in the oven. Now our oven is all up and running properly but have left this temp gauge in as it takes up so little room and a handy quick view to make sure the right temps are being achieved.

I bought this to check my oven. I found that the thermometer on the oven was not accurate.This thermometer allows me to cook my food properly. I hang it form the shelf and leave it in when cooking. I also know that different levels of the oven have different temperatures.Really good piece of kit, Would recommend.

The temperature gauge seems ok and about the same reading as my old gauge

Our 12 month old freezer stopped working. We were never sure what the actual temperature was inside the freezer so we decided to get this temperature indicator. The one problem we have found is that the inside of the glass freezes & so makes it impossible to see what temperature it is indicating

This is a nice, easy to read dial thermometer. I bought quite a few thermometers, and compared them at room temperature, in a fridge, and in a freezer. This one is one of the most accurate I got. it agreed with several other thermometers, which I believe to be accurate, at both fridge temperature (3 and 4 degrees C) and at freezer temperature (at -23 and -20 degrees C). The only inaccuracy I saw was at room temperature, when it indicated 18 degrees C in a 22 degree C room.While this was the most accurate dial thermometer I got, I found the best of all to be an old-fashioned liquid thermometer (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003ARNLVA).
