I will only use the boil out type, but this stuff really works great. This product does not need boiling water in order to work.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: If you want a good clean, the fryer pucks are much better. This product is not that great. We took a fryer that was sparkling clean (with a puck a week prior) used it moderately with no breaded or battered items. Followed the instructions and actually left the cleaning solution in overnight. The sides still needed a lot of scrubbing (unlike pucks) and simply required more work. I would pass on this product.

This stuff is hands down the best fryer cleaner on the market. Just soak it overnight and the next day all the grime just falls off

Does not do a good job. I have a commercial deep fryer in my outdoor kitchen, and have used this product twice and each time ended up scrubbing the fryer. does not do what it claims.

I'm use to using a different cleaning method for my deep fryer. Thus just didn't clean as well as I hoped it would.
