Very well made product. I bought the 70' length as I'd rather have a little more than not enough. Still compact enough for my kayak. I like the included carabiner and nicely sized float.

Excellent product at a reasonable price. Every boat, canoe, and kayak should have one. This product can save a life in situations where nothing else would be effective.

You might need to carefully pick the amount of rope you need in a throw bag. This one seems to be a great length and I probably couldn't throw a heaver, longer rope any farther than this bag. The locking gate carabiner is a great feature for clipping it to your PFD or to the boat for quick, but clean-lines safe accessibility. The rope unwinds quickly in a throw and really does work well to get a swimmer back in the boat.

I feel this bag will be a valuable piece of kit in the event of emergency. It seems to be made well, lightweight, and sufficiently long for most purposes. It comes with a steel carabineer that's fairly heavy and doesn't display a weight rating, so that's probably going to go. After several practice throws and recoils, I found the plastic ring is not helpful, and could hang up on obstacles. I took that off and retied the ends to be more effective with less chance of snags. Also tightened the rope to bag fit and now it meets my standards. For the price, I think it's pretty darn good but not perfect.

Must have for any water bag. I keep this in our bag when we’re visiting any body of water. It’s in our bin with the life jackets. It comes with us if we go to a weekend on the river or out to the lake. One of those things you hope you never need but have incase you ever do. After being a lifeguard I never go around water without it because having the right tools along with the knowledge on how to use them can help save a life.

Rope seams to be good quality, bag on the other hand not so much. After one use bag is faded, sinch broken, and the design is lacking. The ring and rope that comes out the bottom is loose with no way to secure it. I ended up removing the cheap plastic ring and tied a knot on both sides of the foam inside the bag. Worked well like this.
