The face of the black version is IMHO attractive.. I have a 6" circumference wrist and the face takes up most of the top but doesn't look odd. It is rather bulky from the side view. I wouldn't call it slim. The mesh band takes some concentrated enginuity to finagle the adjustment, but it is rather simple in the end. I bought "used" so I feel the value for what was paid is excellent. I've not tested the waterproof feature but most likely it will happen one day. If there is no repost everything worked out fantastic. UPDATE: The glass shattered when it was dropped from less that 3ft to a tile floor after only a few months of use. There is a link provided to contact customer care but it doesn't allow you to actually contact anyone. In use it was waterproof.
