Maybelline The Falsies Instant Lash Lift 9.4ml Waterproof Mascara - 01 Black

I am 74 with eyelashes to go with the age, they have become fragile and although they used to be long, they are no longer. I have to carefully use about 6 layers of mascara to make my lashes descent. Normally mascara clumps and is very difficult to achieve a good result. This mascara actually does everything it promises. It doesn't clump, I still apply about 5 to 6 coats, the result is fantastic, no clumping, it adds length and thickness. The only thing that worried me is that it is waterproof, my mistake, I didn't notice in the description. Although I have to be very gentle with removing the mascara, it isn't as difficult as I imagined it to be. With care and the correct product, it doesn't damage my lashes. I am very happy with it and will definitely buy it again.

It works well in lengthening and enhancing, and lasts a long time without drying out, but if wanting thicker lashes, will probably need to use another product as well.

Repurchased and a covert. This mascara has proven to me that high-street make-up is not just for the youngsters and over 40’s can still look fabulous without having to splurge on luxury brands. Read to the end if you have nothing better to do… Following my first purchase I wrote a mediocre review of this mascara which I regret. The product (new) is full and fluid and the brush is well loaded and I wasn’t used to the applicator brush (it’s a snowman type shape amd I’ve only ever really used standard mascara wands). Within a few weeks my concerns and technique no longer caused me concern. Perfect lashes - buildable, waterproof and defined. Fast forward four months and the mascara is running low as can be expected. I’m noticing my eyes appear smaller and lashes shorter (put it down to ageing). Six months later I’m scraping at the dregs and decide to ‘just buy another’ and save myself time researching a waterproof, colonising, defining, lengthening mascara that didn’t clump my lashes (I’m in my early 40’s and my face, skin, hair etc is changing and I just couldn’t bothered doing more research - now the weather has turned I’m feeling less confident and more tired and just need to focus on my family, work, surviving the economic crisis etc - not my makeup smudging and running in the rain). Anyway, still £6, I’m now familiar with the wand and I know no amount of rain, humidity or tears will cause me to have to worry about my appearance during the course of my hectic days, so it’s an easy decision and I’ve repurchased. And I will do so again, and again! With a new, fully loaded mascara my eyes are popping, my lashes defined and lengthened, and my confidence is boosted. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’m still making my mind up about this product it does tend to smudge which isn’t great but it was around £6. The brush is a little oddly shaped but does separate lashes which I like. Second coat necessary to build definition. Perfect for younger people but for me the smudging is a pain (below eyes from blinking and possible rubbing). Not a bad buy overall.

Does not live up to its claimes. Does not give false lash look not matter how much many layers you apply. Hard to remove it is like having superglue on your lashes. Not waterproof as stated one of the reasons for buying as I have watery eyes. Stings if it gets in to your eyes. Very disappointed. I had to give at least one star to post a review I would have given it 0

What I love about this mascara it’s that it last as long as you keep it and if you forget to wash your face at night time the next day it still looks amazing and you eyelashes don fall like with a normal no waterproof mascara. Also it gives you the fake lashes result if you use it with a curler and I LOVE IT!! I’ve been using it for so long and I find so easy to remove it just with a little bit of any oil but I’ve tried with olive oil and Johnson’s baby and I definitely recommend better the Johnson’s as it’s more handy in the toilet, right? Recommend 1000%

I like how it makes my lashes look but for me it doesnt hold my lashes up

J'ai racheté plusieurs fois ce mascara, car en plus d'un très bon rendu (épaississement intéressant des cils, longueur correcte), il tient vraiment 24 heures : pas d'effritement ni de transfert sur les paupières, même si je pleure. Je n'en ai pas trouvé de plus conforme à mes attentes à ce jour.

Bien noir, avec de la matière à la pose. Il coule, le waterproof n’est pour moi pas du tout efficace sans aller à l’eau…

En väldigt bra mascara som jag köper om och om igen. Lätt att applicera, sitter bra hela dagen utan att smula men samtidigt lätt att ta bort. Rekommenderas!
