Biostretch Soft Garden Plant Ties - Great Stuff
Biostretch has become my preferred product for tying up plants. It's soft, stretchy and not too thick, so doesn't damage the plant and allows it to stretch as the plant grows. I've used in on roses, climbers or other plants that just need lifting up out the way. It's easy to cut (I just use my pruning secateurs) and have'nt noticed the ends fraying and it's easy to tie up. I've only used the green colour and that blends in with the foliage really well, but it does fade over time and deteriorates which is to be expected.

Very good plant ties
I really like this soft tie product. It is much gentler on direct contact with a plant. For example, I have used it to tie in tomatoes, beans, sweet peas, and raspberries. It holds well, but does not damage the plants. Time will tell how long it takes to degrade but if it’s a slow process then I will be able to reuse all the sections I’ve cut for this year as the ties are easy to undo and adjust as necessary. Very pleased with the product.

Handy, clever and eco.
Great item, says what it does on the label. Good stretch and very soft so perfect for young plants, fruit trees alike.

Perfect for climbers
A great roll of garden twine/string. I have some sensitive climbers that need a helping hand to direct them and find this works well, without risk of bruising or cutting stems like wires can. Excellent product for this use.

Brilliant stuff!!
I ordered the olive stretchy stuff (I wouldn't personally call it twine cos that doesn't stretch) and used it yesterday to tie in loads of shoots on climbing roses which had become very unhappy in the recent strong winds. The colour blended beautifully with the stems and shoots and it was so easy to use - it's like T shirt cotton - soft and stretchy and it cut and tied very easily. The rolls are 20m and will last for ages. Ecellent quality and value for money.

A properly bidegradeable solution to tying up young plants of any kind, safely & securely.
I bought these for my new bamboo plants, they were "lolling"about pending developing stronger stems/canes,but I didn't want them to suffer in the high Spring winds of Northern England. This twine is exceptionally easy to use. It's soft & tactile & I felt that my bamboos felt comfortable flexing gently against their tethers without any tightness or chafing etc. Slight lol here. I've been around the garden scouting out other delicate plant souls who will benefit from the same caring attention to their needs when the growing season begins to step up pace. Plants like my huge honeysuckles, who are thick and woody beneath, but new tendrils need gentle tending . This twine is so perfect for any job, easy to use & virtually invisible once tied. I'm so happy to know these ties will properly decompose 18 to 24 months after placement, by which time any plants secured with it willhave "got away" safely & I'll be repeating the procedures on their descendants !

Great for outdoor gardening & growing!
I ordered this for longevity but as it's biodegradable after 2 years, it isn't a good purchase for me as I have too many plants to tie in. It is otherwise a good product and is ideal for gardeners with a good turnover or turnaround of produce. I just feel it isn't ideal for indoor plants as it's also rather conspicuous!

You need scissors to cut it
Excellent so much easier than string and it’s stretchy only thing is I have had to scissors to my gardening kit to cut it

My plants like these. These aren't super stretchy, but enough when the plant wants to grow, but just keep an eye if it gets too tight after a month or two. These also hold up pretty good, they don't degrade for a few years in my experience.

Muy buen producto. Muy elástico y resistente. Sujeta bastante bien las platas a los tutores. No daña las plantas.

I bought both the popular more expensive Bio Stretch and another by a company called BBTO sold here on Amazon to compare the stretch and quality as well as price. Here are my results: Both are soft and won't damage my plants. The Bio Stretch, stretches a lot and that could be a good thing or not depending on what you personally like. The BBTO only stretches a little and the material is much wider but again that could be a good thing right? The bottom line is that for me both products by both companies are really good. I can definitely say that the more expensive Bio Stretch is made much better than the BBTO and feels like a really good quality product but again both do the job of securing plants safely and are gentle. 5 stars for both companies products, it's up to you to decide! The BTTO is much less expensive and their rolls give you 110 feet each versus the Bio Stretch roll that gives you only 65 feet per roll.
