Update since I wrote this review: I have had these up for several months now, no issues what so ever. I live in Houston where our windows sometimes sweat, I've had no issues with this film staying on. I can leave my blinds open all day and when I go to bed I just close them. No one can see in but I close them in case someone gets right up to the window and peeks into a crack where I might not have cut the size perfectly. I know a few others have said theirs hasn't stayed on the window. I did clean my windows pretty hastily, but did clean them before putting my film up. Hope this helps. First Review: I just put this up today in one of my windows. I have no idea if it will stay put so check other reviews for that. What I know - it is absolutely what I wanted. It lets so much light in but doesn't show in or out. If I was close to the window, it might show an image but I'd have to be really close. It's plain, mostly opaque, and went up easily. Here are my tips: I didn't have everything to complete the job so I used my pancake spatula instead of a squeegee, I didn't have a box cutter so I made a template ahead of time and used that to trace and cut the exact size I needed. I didn't have a spray bottle so I had a small bottle from Bath and Body Works w a small amount of fragrance left - poured that elsewhere and used that small spray bottle. So, the biggest challenge I had was trying to pull the backing off, it took me a long time with each. When I do the other window, I will peel, then use my template, and I will make sure to leave something small between the backing and the window film (a sticky?) so I don't take five minutes each time trying to separate the back from the film. Hope this helps. I love open windows - live in a downstairs apartment, I will be able to raise the blinds all the way up and no one will be able to see in but I'll have the light!

Excellent Privacy and Sun Protection - Easy to Apply! I’m very impressed with the HIDBEA One Way Window Film. I used a liter of distilled water with a tablespoon of Johnson's baby shampoo for the sprayer....you want to spray a clean window before attaching and then spray the film to help you squeegee out the solution. (Squeegee in a bit T then spread from center outwards, not going all the way out to the edge until last. Don't worry about cutting it to size until the very end and start in the corners so you don't accidentally rip the film. You will have some little bubbles and things left but, after a few days, they should disappear as the water evaporates This doesn't have glue so I heard it's easier to remove but haven't had to...just wish they wouldn't run out...wanted to buy more rolls to get more windows done but waiting patiently.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. If you are looking for privacy at night this clearly states that it does not provide privacy at night. I purchased to provide privacy to watch birds near my window bird feeder, it was somewhat difficult to install but all privacy film is difficult to install. We unrolled it and placed books on it for a few days to help flatten it out before attempting to install. With soapy water in a spray bottle and a credit card we were able to place it exactly where we wanted also using the soapy water you can lift and reposition until you have the correct placement. Some reviews have said that it doesn't have a mirror reflection but mine does, it's not as reflective as a true mirror but it does reflect. I suggest watching YouTube videos before installing. This is a great film it's thicker than some so it doesn't tear easily. This is my second purchase. i would recommend.

Looks good, roll has a consistent width. Works great during the day, at night you can see through it really well so doesn't work for my intended purpose.
