Bought this originally for my husband who was undergoing a procedure where he'd need to ice an awkward and delicate place frequently for 5-7 days 😅 A normal gel like ice pack wasn't going to do it. Especially as we'd likely need a few to keep rotating them through the freezer, and they were about the same price as this. I bought the 12cm one, and it was perfect.I took the advice from someone else's review to add some water to the ice pack to help it conform to those odd places you need to ice - like a knee or elbow etc - and if you add a little bit of salt, this thing keeps things cold for hours! I was more concerned that it would leak, especially because it was going to be partially sat on, but it doesn't build up condensation on the outside, and even while fairly full (our mistake until we figured out how much ice he needed in the pack for comfort) it didn't leak at all. We have a toddler, so this will be reused countless times I'm sure. But even if not, it was far more economical, convenient and comfortable to use than a typical gel ice pack, so we definitely got our moneys worth.

I’m so glad I got this. I was unsure on which size to get but went with the smallest and it’s perfect. Great size as doesn’t take up much space but when it’s got ice in covers my whole knee, even when it’s all swollen. Highly recommend

So far so good loaded with ice cubes stays cold for several hours. Doesn’t leak water when defrosted

This is a brilliant product and I have wanted one for ages. I have just had a knee replacement and this certainly did the trick, better than a bag of peas

I had a TKR in January and this is ideal, the size is great for my knee and does a great job
