Wow great speakers, sound is great, they mounted perfectly in my 1971 Dodge Demon. brings back good ol days. Alpine wow great speakers and price. please Alpine keep these at this low price and set example for those others price gouging for things we need in everyday life. great sound and quality! 5 stars WOW! and 1 month later ? they raised the price by 10.00 greedy gets greedier.

These speakers are great for the price, they sounds better than the old speakers I replaced. I love alpine brand, and I'm glad they have those affordable speakers.

These Alpine speakers are a solid upgrade from factory units. Bass is clean, mids are well-balanced, and highs are clear without distortion. Installation required slight modifications to fit in my door panels, but the sound quality makes it worthwhile. Best paired with an aftermarket head unit or amp for optimal performance. I have a 2007 accord exl with a 180 watt factory radio. These were an almost perfect replacement for my OEM speakers. Fit was 99%, I easily got all four screws tightened into the new speaker by hand. The sound quality with the highs is better than factory, the sound quality of bass is equivalent to factory, but it doesn’t play quite as loudly in the lower hz range. For my vehicle, this was a great choice

I had a weird squeaking noise in the front that I couldn't figure out. I thought it was the blower fan with a bad bearing but it did it with the fan off. I thought the door panel was rubbing the foam insulation panel but that wasn't it either. Turns out the stock speakers had torn loose from the foam surround. Every little vibration in the speaker (even radio off) would amplify the rubbing sound. These were a good fit and have great sound (with a Pioneer head unit). Had to re-use the factory screws and open the plastic in the speaker trim around them so I could use a nut driver (I used a dremel with a small sanding drum). You have to be careful with speaker depth- some can interfere with the window rolling down. Haven't had that problem with these (keep the plastic riser/housing on the door and just swap the speaker). Had to cut the factory connector and add my own for the speakers.

Bought these to put in a 1951 Chevy truck. Had old lousy Audiovox speakers in the kicker panels, so mounting was already set up to be easy. Only powered off the head unit and these speakers sound very good, given the vehicle I put them in. Plenty of bass and range for my application. Oh, and great price!!!

Just installed these in a 2005 Pathfinder, powered just by an aftermarket deck. They have very little bass range before they start to distort. They are about what you can expect for their price. They certainly sound better than the blown out factory speakers.

Looks good and works good. The speaker grill/cover is on the cheap side though. One keeps popping off of mine.

Obviously there is better quality materials available. They are taking a pounding so far. No distortion loud as i can stand it. The 6.5 are doing pretty good as well.
