Short and concise so easy to use in my busy work environment . Useful as a quick aide memoir: I’m using the kindle version and it’s good value I think.

This is a good, concise introduction to an important aspect of social work practice, which can all too easily be overlooked in hard-pressed and overly bureaucratic organisations prevalent today, where outcome eclipses process. I like the inclusion of different models of reflection, and the connection between reflection and action, as they are complementary, not contradictory. My first practice educator was very keen on reflection, to my benefit; this is a good starting point and a handy size for busy practitioners and students

I have three of these pocket guides and find them very useful when teaching. Easy to understand for students.
