## Description

A shruti box (or sruti box) is a small wooden instrument that traditionally works on a system of bellows. It is similar to a harmonium and is used to provide a drone in a practice session or concert of Indian classical music.[1] It is used as an accompaniment to other instruments and notably the flute. Use of the shruti box has widened with the cross-cultural influences of world music and new age music to provide a drone for many other instruments as well as vocalists.

Review: Not good.. out of tune and to loud - I was looking forward to receive my first shruti box but was sooooo dissapointed with this one. The manufacturer send it a C4-C5 to hight pitch and a very small version that does not do the job. It is very loud and you can not sing with it. I ordered the c3-c4 and recived a loud noisy untuned c4-c5... Also the delivery was delayed... I complaint w the manufatured and they refunded me.

I was looking forward to receive my first shruti box but was sooooo dissapointed with this one. The manufacturer send it a C4-C5 to hight pitch and a very small version that does not do the job. It is very loud and you can not sing with it. I ordered the c3-c4 and recived a loud noisy untuned c4-c5... Also the delivery was delayed... I complaint w the manufatured and they refunded me.
