Finicky dog who seems smarter than the average fur baby? I love the Greenies because it definitely masks the bland taste of pills (I assume, I mean it's not like I tasted it completely). They work probably because of the size that covers the pill very well and goes down the gullet because of it's soft and moist texture. I see these pocket pill not only a way to safely give medicine to your fur baby but because of the alluring smell, I use it as a treat as well. Two products in one.

As the owner of a playful and sometimes stubborn Maltese puppy, I used to struggle with getting her to take her medication. That is, until I discovered these incredible pill pockets. It’s as if she thinks she’s getting a special treat instead of her usual medication! The best part? Ive tried everything to give my stubborn Pug medication... hot dogs, peanut butter, hiding it in soft dog food... something might work once or twice, but eventually she discovers im trying to give her medication and she ether refuses the food or spits out the pill. Ive tried using pill popper syringes, she just clamps her mouth down and refuses to open up. usually things would end up in a wrestling match where im forced to cram the pill down her throat with my hand, which is super stressful for both of us... These pill pockets worked like magic. she likes the smell and taste so much, she'll devour them quickly before even realizing she's getting her medication.

Neatest and easiest way to give pills to dogs. I was tired of getting my fingers nipped in the dog's eagerness to grab a peanut butter covered pill or to get them nipped trying to push pills to the back of their throats so they would actually swallow them. They gobble these up. No more finding a pill they spit out in a corner of the kitchen the next morning!

These work really well, the dog loves them, and they’re very soft and easy to mold around the Pille. I just think they’re ridiculously priced for 30 of them and they’re not extraordinarily large at all so putting in double medicines when that’s how instructed to give and getting them covered with one pocket is a little difficult.

These are great. Super soft and easy to add my dog's pills in, and he gobbles them up. If your dog needs to take a pill, do yourself a favor and buy these and make it easy. Definitely worth the money, and I've found them on sale a couple times.

Fast jeder Tierhalter kann ein Lied davon singen, auf welch teils unmöglichen Ideen man kommt, um die Tablette in seinen Hund oder seine Katze zu bekommen. Glücklich darf sich schätzen, wer ein unkompliziertes und dazu noch verfressenes Tier hat, das jede noch so bittere Medizin förmlich inhaliert, als handele es sich hier um ein außerordentlich schmackhaftes Leckerli. Doch wehe dem, dessen kleiner Liebling von Jekyll zu Hyde mutiert, sobald es an die Medikamentengabe geht. Wenn die "Biester" nicht wollen, wollen sie nicht und entwickeln einen geradezu übernatürlichen Spürsinn dafür, wenn man versucht, sie auszutricksen. Hilfsmittel gibt es unzählige, die die Tabletteneingabe erleichtern sollen. Die meisten funktionieren genau dann nicht, wenn es hart auf hart kommt. In den Anfangszeiten habe ich absolut jeden Kniff und Trick angewendet, den es nur gibt-allerdings mit mäßigem Erfolg. Als es dann so weit war, dass ich angefangen habe, Leckerlis mit Bohrer und Pinzette zu bearbeiten, um die Tablette unbemerkt darin verschwinden zu lassen, wusste ich: Es MUSS eine einfachere Lösung geben. Irgendwann bin ich über die Greenies Pill Pockets gestolpert und habe sie in meiner Verzweiflung ohne große Erfolgsaussichten bestellt. Die Pill Pockets bestehen aus einer knetgummiartigen, formbaren Masse, in die man eine Tablette oder Kapsel einarbeiten kann. Man darf -aber muss sie auch gar nicht -zu lange in der Hand formen, da die Masse sonst klebrig und weich wird. Geruchs-oder geschmacksintensive Tabletten am Besten mit einer Pinzette oder Handschuh in die Masse drücken, damit nichts an die Außenseite der Pill Pockets gelangt. Mittlerweile bestelle ich die Pill Pockets für Hunde, da sie im Vergleich zu denen für Katzen deutlich günstiger sind. Von der Zusammensetzung her besteht, wenn überhaupt, kein signifikanter Unterschied und tut der Akzeptanz auch keinen Abbruch. Aktuell sind die Pill Pockets bei mir seit rund einem Jahr dauerhaft in Gebrauch, da mein jüngster Kater auf Grund einer Autoimmunerkrankung täglich Tabletten benötigt. Er hat die Pill Pockets von Anfang an akzeptiert und das hat sich bis heute nicht geändert. Er wartet jeden Morgen und jeden Abend pünktlich zur Medikamentengabe darauf, dass ich ihm ein Knetkügelchen vor die Nase halte. Auch sein großer "Bruder" ist total verrückt danach und bekommt jedes Mal ein Stückchen (natürlich ohne Tablette) ab. Zwei Mal ist es sogar schon vorgekommen, dass er sich die ganze Packung einverleibt hat, als ich vergessen habe, sie in den Schrank zu räumen ;) Ähnlichen Erfolg hatte ich mit den Pill Pockets schon vor knapp 2 Jahren, als meine mittlerweile verstorbene Katzendame chronisch krank wurde und regelmäßig Medikamente benötigte. Lediglich bei meinem ältesten Kater stoße ich damit auf taube Ohren, der interessiert sich überhaupt nicht dafür. Aber die Masse eignet sich auch dafür, die Tabletten zu ummanteln und dann direkt in den Rachen des Tieres zu geben - vorausgesetzt, das Tier lässt es zu. Man sollte nur beachten, dass die Masse quasi unbrauchbar wird, wenn sie ein Mal "angelutscht" ist. Ich kann die Greenies Pill Pockets uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Da jedes Tier anders ist und nicht jeder Trick bei jedem Tier gleich gut funktioniert, ist es zumindest einen Versuch wert. Für mich ist es eine unkomplizierte und schnelle Lösung, die bei den meisten meiner Tiere viel Akzeptanz findet.

Me encantan, son caras pero ya no tengo que pelearme con ellos para desparasitarlos. Lo que no entiendo es por qué a veces el precio oscila entre 14 y 39 euros la misma bolsita. Desde luego es un gran invento y además no se ponen duros Auqnue la bolsa este abierta un tiempo. A mis perros les encanta

We have a couple of dogs who just would not take their worming tablets. Tried all the usual tricks - hide in food, wrap in ham, cover in pate or peanut butter.... No good. But the pill pockets fooled them and all the tablets were taken with no problem. At first I gave them a couple without any tablet inside just to get them used to the taste then added the filled pockets to their food. All gone! Couple of points to note. The pill pockets are not that big so I had to break tablets in half and so use twice the number of pockets. Also they are quite expensive. We only need to use them for worming tablets, so only every few months, which is fine - but if you have a dog that needs daily tablets it could get very expensive.

C'est un produit magnifique. Je donne 3 comprimés chaque jour à mon chien. C'est très facile avec les pill pockets. Mon chien me dit l'heure où il faut donner les comprimés. C'est un moment agréable au lieu d'être une bagarre. Je suis très contente qu'en fin, c'est possible de les acheter de la France.
