Works great!
I enjoyed installing my quad mini-split system as a home improvement project. It took me longer than usual time due to not having all the tools for drilling, cutting and flaring lines, and also didn't measure my lines correctly. The wall unit installation was the easiest. However, be prepared to spend a little extra on line covers, and electrical installation if you're not an electrician. Luckily, the HVAC technician that I hired was very knowledgeable and charged me $750 for electrical installation to the panel, and doing initial vacuuming of the lines. The units exceed my expectation. They look great and are way quieter than window AC. They also cool down the house real fast. I was also able to connect my units to Alexa and I'm real happy that this summer my house will be a lot more cooler. To me is worth the investment compared to $15,000 estimates that I received. If you have common sense and are crafty, you can install the units yourself. I really recommend this product. Also, call Senville to let them know the line sizes you need. All the units bought in Amazon come with standard 15 ft lines. For my large house, I had to order two additional 50 ft and one 25 ft, which I wished I had since the beginning since Senville will charge you additionally for the extra lines, so let them know. Hope this helps!

Mini split Air conditioner
This Senville dual zone mini split is an awesome machine. It literally cools the entire house. It made our house livable again since the heat was killing us, specially at night when we were trying to sleep. I am so thankful for this unit and highly recommended to everyone who doesn’t want to spend a crazy amount of money to install a central AC unit from scratch without a furnace. We were quoted 40k for a central unit since we don’t have a furnace. That is when I started looking for another option and I found this mini split. Man what a joy to be able to be comfortable not matter the temperature outside. I am pleased with my Senville AC unit. I installed it myself and also did the electrical as well. So I saved a ton of money. If you are going to cut the line, make sure you add or subtract Freon accordingly. My pipes started freezing the first time we used it due to not having enough Freon and that was even after I cut one of the copper lines. Had to have a professional add the proper amount of Freon since I couldn’t get the refrigerant in in Town. If your unit freezes when you start using it, please shut it off and have the system charged properly. After the system has the proper amount of Freon, be ready to enjoy the comfort of your home. This machine is cools and heats your home and that is a huge deal.

Do this and you’ll be happy
We both the 18000 BTU Dual Zone two years ago. We now like it but we originally made these two mistakes. A) do not place the condenser on the wall. The vibrations will drive you crazy. B) Be consistent with cleaning the filters. The often you do the better. We do it every 40 days, it’s very very easy and makes the unit work very efficiently.

8/10 would buy again
Once the unit is installed, it works exceptionally well. It is quiet, easy to understand, and very efficient (measured to less than 20A running full out heat mode on all 3 heads at once). Haven't had the chance to test the cool feature yet except to run the temp up like crazy in the room and then cool it back down, which worked very well. Cost wise, there are other units on Amazon and other retailers that cost less. I've seen those units installed and there is a reason I paid a bit more, and I think that the Senville unit is worth the extra cost. It was super easy to install once we realized that the directions are incorrect in many places. The unit is solid, well built, and does not feel or look like some cheap knockoff. In fact it is probably the best built unit I have seen except for top end systems from top end dealers (we put in a hospital grade system in our last house, this is only a few steps down on build quality). The included remote control is like most Mini Split systems. Basic, IR, and kind of a pain to use. The nice part is that any one remote works on all the heads. The down side is that any one remote works on all the heads. What I mean is it remembers the settings, you go in another room, click a button and whatever you had set in Room A is now in Room B. This is nice and frustrating at the same time. I installed the system with the help of a couple teenagers and a HVAC installer friend. We found everything to be well built and easy to assemble once we figured out what needed to be done. Thats the good. The bad, the Digital Assistant (heavily edited, it won't let me put it here) integration that ships with the unit is bad. You cannot change the unit of measure. It starts as Celsius and the device "Measuring Units" setting is not enabled. It does not work on the web, only on the phone version of the Digital Assistant. From what I can tell it also does not work with the Dot. Mine is a child edition Dot so that may be the reason. Forget about adding it to your favorites since it does not show up in the list. When you try to navigate to the unit, the application thinks you want to change settings, which is really just the ability to rename. That is enough about that integration since it may improve over time. Next up, when installing the new Aura units the documentation says to open the electrical panel on the unit. The book, the online manual, and every YouTube video I could find appear to show a different layout than the unit I received. I attached a short video showing the newer panel style. Once the correct access points are identified the panel opens and provides access to the electrical connections. This part of the design is impressive. They clearly thought about the setup and there are several options to route the main power in. You will notice my next nit pick here as well. There is a connector for a wired thermostat, which is great. Finding a compatible thermostat or wiring information is difficult. I was unable to find documentation explaining how to connect a standard thermostat. Hopefully they publish more information or provide an adapter since it would be nice to integrate with a standard thermostat instead of relying on the remotes, a device specific application, or the integrated Digital Assistant. Speaking of the Digital Assistant, this is when you would normally install that module. The module looks like a USB device which makes it a little confusing at first since the USB port is located behind the front control panel rather than the electrical panel described earlier. Once the front panel is removed the USB port becomes visible and the module can be installed there. One last note. During installation our HVAC helper noticed that the refrigerant valves on the outdoor unit ship in the closed position. This initially made it look like there was no refrigerant in the system until the valves were opened during commissioning. All in all, I will spend the money on Senville next time. Well worth it. The things I pointed out are fairly small issues that could be improved with updated documentation or accessories.

High quality, low price
This system has been great. It kept my house so cozy during winter, even in temps as low as 3° F. Now temps have been getting up to high 80s and it keeps my house cool and I'm confident it will continue to do so when the heat waves hit in July. The air quality has improved a ton since it was installed, even with 3 indoor cats. Everything was installed by an HVAC professional as a side gig for a really reasonable price and I added a UV light to the living room head unit. I think this is a great system and I would definitely buy it again. It's very quiet, has a lot of customizable modes and is easy to use.

Needed to cool down my 1000sqft abode, and the portable AC unit I had wasn't cutting it. Really pleased with how quiet system is, and so far, how capable and efficient it is. Was long overdue. My Electric bill fell by almost 35% overnight. Just a few things I noted while hooking it up. The control line cables seem a tad short relative to copper line sets. I hooked up copper lines first, and then installed the control lines, only to find I was short. I think they need to add a couple of feet to control lines because control lines have a slightly longer distance to travel. Moot point for me, as I went with Teck cable...cable needs to be mechanically protected outside. Note: I think all fans are DC powered. The drain line on compressor unit - not enough clearance, even with with rubber feet. I had to shim unit so drain elbow could be installed. I'd make feet a little more prouder. Would be nice to state clearly and in manual what unit is precharged with. Noticed on placard on outdoor copper line set cover at compressor unit, it was precharged for 49' of copper line (I have dual head unit). Placard also mentions to vacuum only 'one' line. I have two line sets...both line sets should be vacuumed. Power terminals at compressor unit are undersized, not for control lines, but for power line. Had a bear of a time getting power line securely hooked up to little terminals. Was thinking it would be nice to have the option to have one remote able to control both head units... I purchased a vacuum pump, and vacuumed both line sets. Got the https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07MZ5T96H Should note I used plenty of Nylog where copper lines mate. My install wasn't particularly easy. You can see I chose not to mount on wall, and I had to drill through concrete wall to run power, control lines and copper line sets. Also, had to patch lines together because I had one longish run (cutting and flaring ends). Water drain lines are not supplied (cheap to order)...I piped mine to HWT drain. Disappointed I cannot get a warranty for a DIY install. Nothing terribly complicated about install, just requires one to understand what they are doing, especially on vacuuming lines and pressure testing them. Did have a mix-up on order, in that their website had wrong info for accessory (since fixed). Resolved quickly! Have to say, I wonder why I didn't get this unit years ago. It isn't like normal AC units. I don't get the noise, AC smell, or bad air smell. I get whisper quiet flow of cool or warm air. In mornings, I am a bit chilly, problem solved (heats well). At bed time, I set unit to 62F, and within minutes, I am in la la land. Split air heat pump doesn't suck in outside air, so it isn't bringing in outside pollutants, nor defeating itself trying to cool the warm air it sucks in from outside like a portable AC or window AC unit. And yes, you can turn off LEDs on head units, so you have no annoying lights at night. The only sort of annoying thing, is the head units are a tad bulky, but there isn't much one can do, as the head units need a sizable coil and fan. Again, so far, very pleased with unit. Thank you!

So far so good. Quiet. Cold. Easy to use. Only issue was the wire set was a bit short and the drain line had a puncture in it so it leaked. When setting up wifi disable the cellular network on your phone. Works flawlessly then.

The most high effeciency product that I have seen in life.

This is the second Aura I have installed, the first in 2020, still going strong. I reviewed that one and I was very happy with it,the remote being an item that needed improvement. The new remote is much better and now used radio instead of optical so no need to point at the unit. I installed the holder on the wall. Also the air handlers are even quieter and the filters are top mounted and easily removed for cleaning. I am not currently using wifi so can't rate that.

Great unit very helpful seller. I installed my self but books are for multiple models so a little confusing. I have used now for about a month and it even worked when temperature was down at - 18 degrees Celsius . I had one of the 4 units changed when I ordered to a ducted one. The ducted one seems to work even better. Used the ducted one to split between small bathroom and a hall way.
