Tiny size
Really surprising how much you can do with such a small device. Arduino programming language used to just check out simple programme.

A Great Little Board
I ordered three of these Xiao boards which are about the size of a regular First Class Stamp. As a start up test, I downloaded uLisp for the Xiao to the board using the Arduino IDE appropriately set up for the SAMD21. It worked perfectly first time without any hitches although you may get confused by the fact that it switches USB Com Port allocations during the programming cycle - just use the one assigned initially if you are using an external Serial Monitor like PuTTY. The lack of I/O Pins may be off-putting but this is more than compensated by the 256K of Flash and the 48MHz clock speed. I would thoroughly recommend this board for projects needing good processing power and memory where an Arduino just won't cut it.

This is a 3.3v logic device
Once you find the link to download the Arduino IDE add-in, works great. I think it is easier to access some features using it as an Arduino, rather than programming it with Circuit Python.

Amazingly simple, well supported, beautifully made
This is one of my favourite Arduino clones, and it’s so much more. USB-C makes it blazingly fast but the craziest part is how tiny this thing is, makes the nano look monstrous!

Not reliable board
This board is amazing, it small and light weight, you have access to all the pins. it works with 3.7v battery. the first uses was no problem but after several time uplaoding the sketch it started to fail, and then I found that every time I have to jumb reset connection in order to take it to boot loader mode(most of micro controllers doing that automaticaly during upload). After few days the usb port was not detected by windows or Arduino IDE. It is not suitable for debugging and uploading. If you have your sketch ready and don't want to test it several times you can consider to buy it, otherwise it's annoying. hopefully it is firmware problem not hardware design problem.

Having worked with the first Arduino it's amazing to see how small and powerful prototyping boards can get and this is just perfect and the price is awesome.

Lieferung aus GB war sehr schnell. Einen µC habe ich bereits ausprobiert, funktioniert einwandfrei. Unterstützung in Arduino IDE ist vorhanden mit einigen Beispielen, für PlatformIO fehlt diese Variante des SAMD21 noch (kann man sich aber aus anderen SAMD21-Boards "zusammenbauen"). FW-Download klappt mit beiden IDEs gut, Log-Ausgaben über den virtuellen seriellen Port (via USB) funktioniert auch gut. Eine Schematic zum XIAO und allgemeine Dokumentation zum SAMD21 findet sich auch online. Wenn man einen ausgesprochen kleinen µC mit den entsprechenden Eigenschaften sucht, ist dieser sicher eine klare Empfehlung.

Superbe petit module, avec un processeur ARM ! Ce programme aisément avec l'IDE Arduino. Mais attention le drivers USB-RS232 n'est reconnu que par Windows 10. S'alimente en 5V via l'USB ou une pin. Le module quant lui, fonctionne en 3V3 grâce à un petit régulateur qui ne chauffe absolument pas. Un rapport qualité-prix sans équivoque.

Es muy útil y funciona muy bien para proyectos que no necesitan conectividad. Es muy pequeña. Ideal para proyectos que no dispongan de mucho espacio. Programable desde Arduino IDE sin ningún problema. SAMD21 el doble de rápido que el 328p calculando 50000 veces el factorial de 12

MPU molto bello e dalle dimensioni interessanti. Dopo aver usato un bel numero di Arduino vari (con successo al 100% in diverse situazioni) questo invece l'ho trovato molto delicato ed instabile specialmente nelle porte I/O. A parte il primo upload dello sketch, per i successivi gli dovete far precedere sempre un reset a mano ponticellando i due minuscoli pad appositi. Provata l'opzione di upload dello sketch con il formato UF2 trascinando il file relativo nel drive virtuale, mai riuscito a farlo andare. In un paio di mesi ne ho "bruciati 3" e ne ho resi altri 3. Mi spiace proprio, deluso!
