Works great on dark hair!
I was a little worried the green wouldn’t really show up on my dark brown hair, but I was gladly proven wrong! It’s the exact color I was looking for (a dark green that blends well with my natural hair color). Many other reviews helped me pick this product with their praise of it so I’m glad to say it’s deserving. I left it in for an hour instead of the recommended 30 minutes (as per what others suggested) and it came out great, no need for a second round of dye. It also washes off of skin pretty decently (with a good amount of scrubbing). The dye on the skin comes off fully after 1-2 showers. Would recommend!!

Great lasting semi permanent red
Thai has been by far the best and lastest longing Mei permanent red I've used and I've about tried all the trendy and popular brands and even a few off ones. This color starts out pretty dark almost a blood aurburn but after 2 washes it's a deep cranberry red and as it fades becomes a blood red. It's so pretty at each stage of the washing and is fading and I really recommend for anyone who wants a deep red burgundy color. It does stain your hands and your pillow, and please do yourself a favor and wash in the sink the first few times with gloves because it will stay on your hands fora few days. Also if you sweat it can leave a little stain on the side of the face but if you use a little conditioner around those areas it helps a lot and does come off after a little scrubbing.

Found my purple color solution
This might be a bit long winded but I've been using another highly rated purple color since Covid when I could not get to a salon. It held up well and was nice and purple. But the last several months people keep commenting on my blue hair. Because it pretty much looked blue no matter how I tried to refresh the color. I thought maybe I just needed a full re-set so I decided to bleach out all the color and apply again. Still looked blue. Maybe it's like shampoo- sometimes you just need to swap out and go with something new? Decided to bleach down again and go with another brand. Long winded but I went with Lunar Tides. IT IS PURPLE. NO ONE IS EVER GOING TO CALL THIS BLUE!!!! I used the NIghtshade and then down to Orchid purple. Honestly I can't see that much of a shading difference but that could be me. Maybe I did too good of a blending job. lol What I do see is gorgeous vibrant purple hair and I'm so happy with it. Comments talk about staining sink or looking like a smurf. I looked on their website- use a bleach cleaner for the sink. I have Soft Scrub with bleach and it took it right out. There was a little more staining than the last product I used (which I think tells me it has more pigment) but the soft scrub on sink and counter top eliminated any trace of the color. I washed out my hair to start with in the sink and then got in the shower. No smurf skin for me and any trace on my hands (keep your glove on until you wash the bowl and brushes!) was gone by the time I got out of the shower. I have also read about color bleeding after dry. Mine has not. In fact due to the reviews I bought a turban bonnet on Amazon to protect my sheets and I had no bleed inside the turban. I do wash twice when I do my hair- I only wash it once a week so when I wash it I use a purple color protecting shampoo, rinse and do it again. Then purple color conditioner. The excess has seemed to be washed out. If I see differently I will revise this. My shampoo and conditioner are by Moroccanoil. It is too soon to say how long this will last and I do know it is different for everyone and their hair. But I am really pleased so far and am very grateful I have finally found a purple that stays and looks purple.

Not bad, no issues at least the first time
I think it’s pretty good for the price. I didn’t have any taking issues when I first dyed it a few months ago. Bleached my hair to about an 8, toned, then used the dye and it seemed extremely pigmented and very bright. Not darker like the picture though, was giving more Hatsune Miku than what the picture showed. Could have been the bleach and toner used beforehand maybe. It’s grown on me and may redo a few more times. Stains pretty bad but nothing I haven’t seen before with other brands. I did try and touch up my roots no bleaching first recently, and it didn’t take much at all. Will try one more time with the new batch I got. If it doesn’t work will just go to another brand. The color though, pretty, getting compliments on it. It really is vibrant even though it’s faded some. Feels like it has some decent staying power.

Oh this is going to be controversial, sorry IA
Alright so, I am a quick shopper even online, I’ll check reviews and pictures and maybe check out a YouTube video to see a better view of the color. I however didn’t notice it was vegan, I tend to avoid vegan products because simply I have not found any that meet my expectations for what I need or expect. I understand if it’s a lifestyle/ethical choice, more power to you, live your truth: but me personally, this brand now added to the list along with arctic fox are thumbs down for me. Arctic fox bleeds non stop everywhere, seems to permanently dye anything but your hair, and washes out in about 3 washes. Now with this product Pros: -it did not stain my skin, that was cool -it’s pretty thick so I did not make any kind of mess apply it, again cool -if you want like a fun little change for about a week, this is perfect because it washes out quick. -it didn’t bleed onto my clothes or bedding, or skin when washing my hair But that’s where the pros end Cons: - I couldn’t grip the seal so I used a safety pin to help me get an end up, some of the product came out on the safety pin and I saw even though it was thick, for hair color it’s fairly translucent. Red flag if you are experienced in regularly dying your hair 😩 if you want a lighter version or very temporary color it would be ideal, but for vibrance and hang time NOPE. -just when I rinsed it out, COLD WATER, and used no shampoo I could tell it was going to wash out quick, and I was right, it lasted about 3 washes total, pretty much gone after the 2nd wash honestly. My hair is not over processed or anything that would contribute to loss of color at that rate. I even use baby shampoo since it’s no harsh chemicals and honestly has helped preserve my colors better than any “color saving” products on the market. Another thing I didn’t favor was it didn’t stick to my freshly bleached roots. Again experienced hair artists know that usually will be the brightest spot, as well as bleaching helping seal color in if you do it correctly in a time period. So PRETTY MUCH if you want something temporary, or you’re wanting to test drive a color but not ready to commit; this is perfect. However if you’re looking for something that is long lasting, this is not it. May be a basic bih but I’ve been doing this for 17 years and have tried dozens of dye products and ion color brilliance I personally don’t feel can be beat. Extremely vibrant color, very minimal bleeding/transfer after coloring and even that just depends on the color, you may not get any bleeding or transfer at all. It also lasts a long time, as well as fades evenly so you won’t have splotchy hair as it fades, you’ll just go through lighter shades of Itself.

Beautiful Red ♥️
The picture does not give it justice. I originally dyed my hair with HiColor Red and it came out too bright for my liking. I found Lunar Tides-Blood Moon on TikTok and loved how it was shown. This red is a little “darker”, I wanted more of a red the same as blood (if that makes sense). The formula wasn’t too thick and smelled good. Super easy to apply. My new red! ♥️🙂↕️

Amazing color and long lasting
Love this color! Didn’t stain my skin nearly as bad as other dyes. Only took a a bit of scrubbing in hot water and it was off. It’s stayed in my hair not fading for almost a month now. Which is great for me. The dark violet is a blueish purple which is exactly what I wanted. I did mine over medium/light brown and it shows great.

It Stains but it is a Nice Color
Love the color! It did not dye my natural brown hair but the dye did work for the lower part of my hair that had been previously bleached and had dyed a pink shade that was fading (different product). I used gloves to put the dye on, which had a nice smell to it. I left it in for an hour before doing a rinse. That is when the fun started. Tub is purple. Hands are purple. Neck, ears, parts of my back, and bottom of my feet all turned purple. I used toothpaste to get it off of my hands. I allowed my hair to dry before going to bed. Woke up to a stained shirt, and dye on my ears. Seems it bled while I was sleeping. Washed that off my skin, and I went to wash my shirt but it stained it. Thankfully it was an old shirt! My brush is also covered in purple dye. I currently have my hair up so it won't stain me. How long until I can touch my hair? I can't even show it off and get a good look at it until I can actually brush and touch it without getting dye everywhere. Three stars for now. Lets see how long this color lasts, then I might change the rating. Just super annoying having the dye stain everything it touches. Update: The company reached out to me via FB comments. They told me to use a color sealer and that should stop the dye from staining. Great news, it worked! So I am adding another star to my review. The color is vibrant, my hair is soft. The staining was a annoying since I couldn't get a color sealer for a week after the dye process. But now that I know, I might stick with this brand. The color has not faded yet.
