**Q: Can this be used with a conversion kit? Taking a recessed light out to replace with a chandelier and need to cover the 6 inch hole**
A: Not really, since it would only reduce the 6 inch hole to 5.25 inches... I think you might prefer a chandelier light trim (also called a medallion).

**Q: Can these be installed after  lights are installed? bad cuts were hidden behind the led fixture. is there a split or do the lights need to be disconn**
A: The can light trim needs to be removed so the goof ring can be placed between the ceiling and the can light trim. It’s a simple process.

**Q: What is the Finish?  Gloss or matte?**
A: They have a gloss finish.

**Q: Does the company  name show on these Rings when they are installed (it shows in the pic on Amazon)?**
A: They do not show on the 6-8 I installed.
